Various Mobile Toilets

Admin September 20, 2026

Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and set up at fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers. There are various classification methods:

Classification by material:

  • Plastic toilets: They are lightweight and inexpensive, making them highly suitable for temporary sites such as construction sites. Their material properties make them convenient for setup and dismantling, meeting the needs of high personnel turnover and relatively short usage periods at construction sites.
  • Color-steel toilets: They offer good thermal and sound insulation performance and have an aesthetically pleasing appearance. They are commonly found in public places like parks and streets, providing a comfortable toilet environment for citizens while blending in with the surrounding environment.
  • Fiberglass-reinforced plastic toilets: They are molded as a whole and have extremely strong durability, even being difficult to break when dropped. This characteristic makes them particularly suitable for special scenarios such as disaster relief and emergency rescue, where they can maintain structural integrity in harsh environments and provide necessary toilet facilities for affected people and rescue personnel.
  • Tent-style toilets: They are mainly used for temporary events, and their setup and dismantling processes are as simple as pitching a tent. They can be quickly set up and dismantled for short-term events, offering convenience and flexibility.

Classification by mobility method:

  • Hoisting-type: They require the use of cranes for transportation and are suitable for fixed locations like construction sites. Since the construction areas at construction sites are relatively fixed, hoisting-type mobile toilets can be used for a long time at one location and moved and installed as a whole using cranes.
  • Trailer-type: They are equipped with wheels and can be pulled for movement, making them highly suitable for large-scale events such as music festivals. During the event, their positions can be flexibly adjusted according to the venue layout and crowd distribution.

Classification by sewage treatment method:

  • Waterless packing-type: Similar to the principle of diapers, they are directly sealed after use and are suitable for water-scarce areas such as desert camping. This treatment method does not require a water source or sewage pipes, effectively solving toilet problems in special environments.
  • Traditional water-flushing type: They require connection to sewage pipes and sufficient water supply for use and are commonly found in scenic spots. Scenic spots usually have complete water and electricity facilities, and traditional water-flushing mobile toilets can provide a relatively comfortable toilet experience for tourists.
  • Foam-sealing type: They cover odors by squeezing foam, offering water-saving and environmentally friendly features. In places with high environmental protection requirements, such as ecological parks, foam-sealing mobile toilets are a good choice.
  • Microbial degradation type: They can convert feces into fertilizer and are commonly found in ecological parks. This treatment method not only solves toilet problems but also achieves resource recycling, in line with the concept of ecological environmental protection.
