Vanke Prefabricated Housing

Admin September 18, 2026

Vanke prefabricated housing is built by Vanke Group using prefabricated assembly technology, featuring a well-developed technical system, wide project application, and significant advantages.

Technical System

Vanke continuously improves its "5 + 2" prefabricated construction system, which integrates five architectural technology systems with new technologies, materials, and processes such as moderate prefabrication of the main structure and prefabricated decoration, effectively breaking through the quality bottlenecks of traditional construction. For example, after the 21st century, Vanke developed a prefabricated shear wall residential structural system and applied prefabricated frame technology in projects. The Nanjing Jindi Yufang project, for instance, adopted a prestressed prefabricated concrete assembled integral frame structural system, which improved construction efficiency and quality stability.

Project Application

Vanke has successfully applied prefabricated assembly technology in multiple projects. Taking the Vanke Jiuduhui project as an example, located southeast of Nanjing South Railway Station, it consists of three prefabricated assembly residential buildings. During construction, due to the owner's requirement for new construction techniques, traditional steel tube scaffolding could not meet the structural support needs. However, the Sujiejia, a new support system, perfectly solved the problem, adhering to the principles of green, environmentally friendly, efficient, and safe construction. This demonstrates Vanke's ability to flexibly apply new technologies in prefabricated housing projects according to actual needs, ensuring smooth project progress.

Advantages

Prefabricated buildings offer numerous advantages. Shorter Construction Period: Prefabricated components are produced in advance in factories, and only assembly is required on-site, significantly reducing on-site construction time. Reduced Pollution: With less wet work on-site, dust and noise pollution are reduced, aligning with the development concept of green buildings. Early applications of prefabricated concrete technology in China were in factory and residential construction. After the 21st century, it has seen a resurgence due to production efficiency and environmental advantages. The promotion by companies like Vanke has also facilitated the development and application of this technology in the market, making prefabricated housing increasingly popular.
