Specifications of Mobile Toilets in Urban and Rural Areas

Admin October 01, 2026

The specifications of mobile toilets in urban and rural areas vary depending on the type, with common specifications as follows:

Single-person mobile toilets come in a variety of specifications. The regular model typically has dimensions of 110cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height. This specification is suitable for ordinary parks, temporary construction site locations, small event venues, and other scenarios, meeting basic single-person usage needs. The mini single-person model has dimensions of 100cm in length, 100cm in width, and 220cm in height. Due to its smaller size, it is mostly used in small exhibitions with heavy foot traffic, commercial streets, and other areas to save space. Additionally, there is a standard size range with lengths from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, widths from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and heights from 2.2 to 2.5 meters, also suitable for construction sites and small events.

Double-person mobile toilets usually have dimensions of 180cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height, allowing two people to use them simultaneously. They are suitable for team-building venues, outdoor camping areas, and other scenarios that require multiple people to use the toilet at the same time, improving usage efficiency. Moreover, the standard size of double-compartment mobile restrooms is a length from 2.4 to 3.0 meters, a width from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and a height from 2.2 to 2.5 meters, suitable for large events and tourist attractions to better handle heavy foot traffic.

Barrier-free mobile toilets are larger in size, generally with dimensions of 180cm in length, 150cm in width, and 240cm in height. They reserve space for wheelchair rotation, facilitating use by people with mobility impairments, and are commonly found in large parks and scenic spot entrances. According to the requirements of the "Barrier-Free Design Code", their internal clear dimensions should not be less than 1.8m×1.4m, and a barrier-free ramp with a width of more than 0.8m should be provided at the entrance to ensure smooth use by people with mobility impairments.

Multi-functional mobile toilets have lengths from 3.0 to 4.5 meters, widths from 2.0 to 2.5 meters, and heights from 2.5 to 3.0 meters. They are suitable for high-end events, long-term fixed venues, and other scenarios, offering richer functions. Baby care rooms/third restrooms generally have an area of not less than 4 square meters, including facilities such as baby changing tables and children's toilets. The clear width should be ≥1.5m to ensure operating space, providing convenience for special groups.
