What are the Types of Prefabricated Components for Cement Houses

Admin September 19, 2026

Prefabricated components for cement houses mainly include the following types:

1. Structural load-bearing components Structural load-bearing components are the skeleton of a house, typically made from a mixture of steel bars and cement, including beams, columns, shear walls, etc. These components bear the vertical loads and horizontal forces (such as earthquakes and wind) of the building through the composite action of high-strength concrete and steel bars, ensuring overall stability. Their production must strictly adhere to design specifications to ensure load-bearing capacity and durability.

2. Floor slabs and stairs

  • Composite floor slabs: Composed of prefabricated hollow slabs and cast-in-place concrete layers, the hollow structure in the middle reduces self-weight and improves sound insulation, while the cast-in-place layer enhances overall stiffness.
  • Prefabricated stairs: Produced through standardized factory production and directly hoisted to the construction site, significantly shortening the construction period while reducing errors and safety hazards in on-site operations.

3. Exterior wall panels Exterior wall panels are divided into two categories: functional and decorative:

  • Functional: With an insulation layer (such as polystyrene board) in the middle, they provide winter insulation and summer heat insulation, reducing energy consumption.
  • Decorative: Featuring built-in patterns or textures on the surface, they meet aesthetic needs without additional decoration, suitable for rapid construction projects.

4. Cement pipe types Made from reinforced concrete, they are used in urban drainage systems, including water supply pipes, drainage pipes, and various types of well pipes (such as inspection wells, power wells, and cable wells). Their excellent corrosion resistance and compressive strength allow them to be buried underground for long periods, ensuring the stable operation of municipal facilities.

5. Cement brick types Made from cement, stone powder, and river sand, they are pressed and cured to have high durability and compressive strength, widely used in walls, foundations, and other parts. Their uniform specifications facilitate construction, and their strength can be adjusted by varying the raw material proportions.

6. Cement cover types Usually made from a composite of cement and cast iron, they cover trenches, well openings, etc., such as cable trench covers and cement well covers. Their design must balance load-bearing capacity and theft prevention, with some products also featuring anti-slip functions to ensure pedestrian safety.

7. Cement panel types Including interior wall panels, exterior wall panels, ceilings, etc., they have a flat surface and strong durability, serving directly as building envelopes or decorative finishes. Some products are reinforced with fibers to enhance crack resistance, suitable for high-rise buildings or humid environments.

8. Other categories Such as septic tanks, cement poles, cement piles, pit column supports, etc., customized according to specific engineering needs. For example, septic tanks adopt a sealed design to prevent leakage, while cement poles must meet the mechanical and insulation requirements for high-voltage power transmission.

Prefabricated components for cement houses, through factory production and modular installation, have realized building industrialization, significantly improving construction efficiency and quality controllability, and are an important development direction in the modern construction field.
