Mobile Toilets for Travel Scenic Spots

Admin October 17, 2026

Mobile toilets in travel scenic spots are facilities that can be moved as a whole and provide public toilet services. They are suitable for places such as stations, docks, and travel scenic spots, and have advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

The composition of mobile toilets is relatively complex. Generally, they consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to achieve the basic functions of mobile toilets and provide users with a relatively comfortable and hygienic toilet environment.

In terms of materials, mobile toilets have undergone gradual development. Initially, they were made of wood, and later gradually developed to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. These new materials have better durability, water resistance, and ease of cleaning, enabling them to adapt to different usage environments and requirements.

From the perspective of structural form, mobile toilets can be divided into single-unit mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-unit structure is relatively simple and is suitable for places with limited space or a small demand for the number of toilets. The composite structure is more complex and can accommodate more functional areas and facilities to meet higher usage requirements.

In terms of mobility, there are lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets usually require the assistance of lifting equipment for movement and are suitable for replacement at fixed locations or short-distance handling. Powered and towed mobile toilets can be moved by vehicle traction or their own power, making them more flexible and convenient and suitable for places that require frequent movement.

In terms of sewage treatment methods, mobile toilets are divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets treat fecal sewage through water flushing or suction. Circulating water-flush mobile toilets recycle the flushing water to save water resources. Dry-packing mobile toilets pack the feces for treatment without using water, making them suitable for water-scarce areas or places with high environmental protection requirements.

For example, Xingtai Lianchen Stainless Steel Production Co., Ltd., Lanzhou Tongchuang, and Dezhou Hongtu Metal Products Co., Ltd. all provide mobile toilets suitable for travel scenic spots. Some are welded from thickened galvanized square tubes, some use light steel materials with overall thermal insulation, and some have metal carved panel color-matching designs, meeting the personalized needs of different scenic spots.
