Travel Hygiene Portable Toilet
A travel hygiene portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and set up in fixed or temporary locations to provide public toilet services, suitable for tourist attractions and other scenarios.

I. Basic Composition A travel hygiene portable toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or disposal device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. Among them, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and temporarily store excreta, and some are equipped with disposal devices for preliminary treatment. Sanitary ware includes sit-down toilets and squat toilets to meet different usage habits. The walls and roof provide an enclosed space to ensure privacy and protection against wind and rain. The moving device gives it the characteristic of being relocatable.
II. Classification Methods
- By structural form: It is divided into single-unit portable toilets (independent units suitable for locations with limited space) and composite-structure portable toilets (multiple units combined to expand functional areas).
- By moving method: It includes lifting and handling types (relying on mechanical handling, suitable for short-distance movement) and powered towing types (equipped with a power system for long-distance towing).
- By sewage treatment method: There are water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction types (relying on a water source for flushing, with sewage requiring regular pumping), circulating water-flushing types (achieving water resource recycling through filtration and purification), and dry-packing types (using biodegradable packaging bags to collect excreta without the need for a water source).
III. Functional Features Some high-end models are equipped with management rooms and third toilets. The third toilets are fully equipped with sit-down toilets, safety handrails, washbasins, etc., and feature stainless steel outward-opening doors to enhance barrier-free usage experience. Classic designs adopt a layout with one squat toilet for men and one for women plus a central washing area, with metal carved panels for the wall panels and a double-roof design to enhance heat insulation. One-stop models are equipped with marble washbasins, 304 stainless steel water tanks, automatically closing toilet doors, and heated faucets to improve comfort.
IV. Application Value Its movable, combinable, and easy-to-transport characteristics enable it to be quickly deployed to locations where it is difficult to build fixed public toilets, effectively making up for the shortage and layout defects of urban public toilets. It is especially suitable for temporary or periodic demand scenarios such as tourist attractions, large-scale events, and disaster relief.
