Nails on Mobile Toilets

Admin October 06, 2026

The methods for fixing or removing the nails on mobile toilets are as follows:

Fixing Method

To fix the nails on mobile toilets, you can use the ground anchor fixing method. At the four corners or key load-bearing positions of the toilet, use expansion screws or ground anchor nails to connect the fixing chains (straps) to the ground. The depth of the ground anchor should exceed 30 centimeters to ensure sufficient pull-out resistance and thus guarantee the stability of the mobile toilet.

Removal Method

If you need to remove the nails (screws) on the structure similar to a toilet bowl inside the mobile toilet, you can try the following methods:

  • Using Tools to Twist: Use pliers to grip the head of the screw tightly and twist it counterclockwise to remove it. If the screw slips, wrap the nut with gauze to increase friction. For screws with grooves, use a screwdriver to hold the groove and twist it, or use an impact wrench to assist in the operation.
  • Loosening by Physical Methods: Utilize the principle of thermal expansion and contraction. Heat the screw and the connection point with a hairdryer, torch, or candle to make the screw expand and easier to twist. Alternatively, spray lubricant and let it sit for a few minutes before attempting to twist it.
  • Special Handling of Expansion Screws: If it is an expansion screw, first unscrew the nut on the toilet lid, and use a screwdriver to knock the expansion screw inward to loosen it. When the screw can twist back and forth, remove it slowly. If it still cannot be removed, find an expansion bolt sleeve of the same model to cover the screw and knock the sleeve inward forcefully. When the bolt sleeve moves and loosens, the expansion screw can be removed.
  • Destructive Removal: If all the above methods are ineffective, you can use a destructive removal method. Drill off the tail of the screw with a deep-hole drill bit, then separate the components with a mold, and finally remove the remaining parts with pliers. Turn off the water supply before operation, and this method may damage the toilet, so use it with caution.
