Tornado Mobile Toilet
In extreme windy weather such as tornadoes, mobile toilets are at risk of being blown over or overturned, making it difficult to guarantee absolute safety.

From the perspective of structural stability, mobile toilets are typically constructed using lightweight materials such as plastic, metal frames paired with lightweight panels, etc., resulting in a relatively light overall weight. While this design facilitates mobility and installation, it becomes a significant disadvantage when facing extreme winds like tornadoes. The tremendous lift and thrust generated by strong winds can easily cause mobile toilets to lose balance, leading to their being blown over or overturned. For instance, in 2018, when strong winds struck Colorado, USA, two mobile toilets were launched into the sky like rockets, vividly demonstrating the vulnerability of mobile toilets in the face of strong winds.
Analyzing from actual cases, on August 10, 2026, affected by the outer circulation of Typhoon Dolphin, a tornado occurred in Wenling City, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, causing damage to window glass and vehicle sunroofs in residents' homes. Although there was no explicit mention of damage to mobile public toilets in this incident, based on the destructive power of tornadoes and the structural characteristics of mobile toilets, it is reasonable to infer that mobile public toilets face a significant risk of damage under similar extreme weather conditions. Tornadoes are characterized by their sudden onset, strong winds, and concentrated areas of destruction. Their wind speeds often far exceed those of ordinary strong winds, capable of causing severe damage to surrounding objects in a short period. Due to their structural limitations, mobile toilets lack sufficient wind resistance and struggle to remain stable under tornado attacks.
Therefore, before the arrival of extreme windy weather such as tornadoes, mobile toilets should be promptly relocated to safe locations or reinforced to reduce the risk of damage and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
