Tongjiang Container House Construction
The container house construction business in Tongjiang City is mainly carried out by Tongjiang Shengfan Container House Co., Ltd. If waterproof construction of prefabricated container houses is involved, the following process can be followed:

Construction Preparation:
Before construction, comprehensively inspect the condition of the container panels to ensure there are no issues such as damage, deformation, or severe rust. At the same time, prepare waterproof sealing materials that meet standards, such as polyurethane sealant and acrylic waterproof coating, as well as construction equipment like roller coating tools, spray guns, and utility knives. The materials should possess weather resistance, anti-aging properties, and environmental certification, while the tools should be kept clean and free of impurities.
Base Layer Treatment:
Thoroughly clean the surface of the container, removing oil stains, dust, rust, and loose coatings to ensure the base layer is clean. Grind or repair uneven areas, using cement mortar or a special repair agent to fill gaps, ensuring the flatness error of the base layer does not exceed 2mm. After treatment, allow natural drying for more than 24 hours to ensure the moisture content is below 8%, avoiding the impact of moisture on the adhesion of the waterproof layer.
Node Area Treatment:
Joints are high-risk areas for leakage. At positions such as panel splicing seams, around door and window frames, and at the junctions of the roof and walls, first fill gaps 1-2mm wide with sealant, then cover with waterproof membranes or apply a reinforcing layer. Door and window openings should adopt the 'one-cloth-three-coats' process (i.e., applying non-woven fabric followed by three coats of waterproof coating) to form a flexible waterproof barrier and prevent rainwater backflow.
Waterproof Coating Application:
Select the type of coating based on the container material (such as metal or fiberglass) and the usage environment (such as temperature differences and humidity). High-elastic acrylic coating is suitable for metal panels, while polyurethane coating can be used for fiberglass. During application, use a cross-rolling or spraying method to ensure the coating is uniform without omissions, with a thickness of 1.5-2mm. Each coat should be applied with an interval of 4-6 hours, allowing the previous layer to dry completely before applying the next one to avoid blistering or cracking.
Quality Inspection:
After construction is completed, conduct a 24-hour closed-water test by spraying water on the roof or walls to simulate rainfall and observe for internal leakage. Focus on inspecting joints, nodes, and the edges of the coating, using an infrared thermal imaging camera to detect hidden leakage points. Any issues found should be locally repaired and retested until they pass the acceptance criteria.
