Toilet Waterproof Mobile Socket Panel

Admin October 08, 2026

For waterproof mobile socket panels used in toilets, it is recommended to choose splash-proof series sockets or sockets with waterproof boxes.

Splash-proof series sockets: These sockets are specifically designed for humid environments, such as outdoor waterproof socket panels with switch indicator lights. Their core advantage lies in their upgraded drainage design, which, through special structures or material treatments, can quickly drain splashed water droplets, avoiding the risk of short circuits caused by water accumulation. Meanwhile, the switch indicator light function can visually display the on/off status of the socket, facilitating safe operation by users in humid environments. These sockets usually adopt sealing rubber rings or waterproof coating technologies, with a relatively high protection level, making them suitable for direct exposure in splash-prone areas like toilets.

Sockets with waterproof boxes: If ordinary mobile socket panels need to be used, they can be paired with waterproof boxes to enhance safety. Common types include 86-type waterproof boxes with four-socket waterproof covers and 118-type adhesive waterproof boxes. The 86-type waterproof box adopts a standard size design, can completely cover the socket panel, and is fixed with buckles or screws, forming a physical barrier to block water splashes. The 118-type adhesive waterproof box is directly pasted on the wall with strong adhesive, offering flexible installation and being suitable for non-standard sockets or temporary power supply scenarios. The material of waterproof boxes is mostly ABS engineering plastic, which has corrosion resistance and impact resistance characteristics, effectively isolating water vapor and keeping the inside of the socket dry.

Selection suggestions:

  1. Prioritize splash-proof sockets: If the toilet is constantly humid or requires frequent water use, it is recommended to directly choose splash-proof series sockets, whose integrated design offers better protection performance.
  2. Waterproof box adaptability: If ordinary sockets are already installed, a waterproof box can be added as supplementary protection. It is necessary to choose a model that matches the socket size and ensure it is firmly installed.
  3. Protection level reference: When purchasing, pay attention to the IP protection level marked on the product (such as IP44, IP66). The higher the numbers, the stronger the dust and water resistance. For toilet environments, it is recommended to choose a level of IP44 or above.
  4. Safety certification: Be sure to choose products that have passed the national 3C certification to ensure that the material's flame retardancy and insulation performance meet safety standards.

By reasonably choosing waterproof sockets or pairing them with waterproof boxes, the electrical safety hazards in toilets can be significantly reduced, ensuring safe daily use.
