Toilet Sliding Door Size
The size of the toilet sliding door should be determined comprehensively based on the actual installation space, design requirements, and usage scenarios. The following are the common standard size ranges:

1. Width The width of a single-leaf sliding door is usually 60-90 centimeters, suitable for bathrooms with limited space. The total width of a double-leaf sliding door is 120-180 centimeters, suitable for larger spaces. If it is necessary to meet the passage requirements of a single-sided sliding door, a minimum clear width of 650 millimeters should be reserved. The door opening size on architectural drawings is generally marked as 700 millimeters. For bidirectional sliding doors, a 650-millimeter passage should be reserved, and the door width is usually 1300 millimeters. If two streams of people need to pass through simultaneously (such as in public restrooms or multi-person household usage scenarios), the door width should be expanded to 2200 millimeters to ensure passage efficiency.
2. Height The height of the sliding door mainly depends on the floor height of the bathroom and the height of the door opening. The standard height range is 1.9-2.4 meters, with a common height of about 2 meters in residential bathrooms. Some designs keep it within the range of 1.9-2.1 meters. When choosing the height, both aesthetics and practicality should be considered: if the floor height is low, an excessively high door may appear oppressive; if the floor height is high, the height can be appropriately increased to enhance the sense of spatial openness.
3. Thickness The thickness of the sliding door directly affects its stability and sound insulation effect, with a common range of 3-8 centimeters. Glass sliding doors usually have a thickness of 5-8 centimeters to ensure structural strength. Specific thickness specifications include 35 millimeters, 40 millimeters, 50 millimeters, 75 millimeters, and 100 millimeters:
- Small sliding doors (35 millimeters, 40 millimeters, 50 millimeters): Suitable for light-duty doors or spaces with limited room, among which 40 millimeters is widely used due to its high cost-effectiveness.
- Large sliding doors (75 millimeters, 100 millimeters): Suitable for heavy-duty doors or scenarios with high stability requirements. The 100-millimeter thickness is more popular due to its strong resistance to deformation.
Design suggestions: When making an actual selection, it is necessary to consider the size of the bathroom, usage frequency, and budget comprehensively. For example, in a small-sized bathroom, a single-leaf sliding door with a width of 60 centimeters, a height of 2 meters, and a thickness of 40 millimeters can be preferred to save space. In a large-sized or public bathroom, a double-leaf sliding door with a width of 180 centimeters, a height of 2.4 meters, and a thickness of 100 millimeters can be selected to balance passage efficiency and durability.
