Toilet Sliding Door Installation
Admin October 05, 2026
The installation of a toilet sliding door requires following a certain process to ensure it is installed firmly and operates smoothly. Here are the specific installation steps and key points:

I. Basic Positioning and Fixing
- Vertical Positioning: Use a level to determine vertical reference points on both sides of the door opening on the wall, ensuring that the frame meets the verticality requirements after installation. If there are errors in the wall, correct them in advance or compensate by adjusting the frame position.
- Structural Adhesive Fixing: Apply structural adhesive evenly on the contact surface between the frame and the wall to provide temporary fixing and enhance bonding strength. Choose a type of structural adhesive that is weather-resistant and has good waterproof performance to prevent it from falling off due to moisture in the later stage.
- Frame Installation: Align the frame with the vertical reference points and firmly fix it to the wall using expansion bolts or special fasteners. Pay attention to the levelness of the frame during fixing and check it again with a level.
II. Track System Installation
- Suspended Track and Floor Track Fixing:
- Suspended Track Installation: According to the design height, mark the position of the suspended track on the ceiling or false beam, and fix the suspended track bracket with expansion bolts to ensure that the suspended track is level and aligned with the frame.
- Floor Track Installation: Mark the position of the floor track on the ground, clean up debris on the ground, and then fix the floor track. If the ground is uneven, level it with cement mortar before installation to prevent the floor track from deforming and affecting sliding.
- Hidden Track Handling:
- If a hidden track is used, weld a false beam with hot-dip galvanized square tubes in advance. The height of the false beam should be 2-3 centimeters lower than the ceiling to leave space for subsequent ceiling installation.
- Check the verticality and levelness of the false beam separately with a level to ensure smooth sliding of the track after installation.
III. Pulley Debugging and Door Body Installation
- Pulley Debugging: Install the pulley assembly on the top of the door body, hang it into the suspended track, and repeatedly push and pull it for testing. Adjust the height or tightness of the pulley to ensure that the door body slides without jamming or noise.
- Door Body Installation: Hang the door body vertically into the track, check whether the gap between the door body and the frame is even, and make corrections by adjusting the pulley or frame position if necessary.
- Damper and Door Lock Installation:
- The damper device can slow down the impact force when the door body is closed and extend its service life. Install it according to the instructions and adjust it to an appropriate force.
- When installing the door lock, ensure that the lock tongue is aligned with the lock hole and that it opens and closes flexibly to avoid the inability to lock due to installation deviations.
IV. Final Touches
- Glass Adhesive Sealing: Apply glass adhesive at the gaps between the door body and the wall, and between the track and the ground to provide sealing and aesthetic effects. Apply the glass adhesive evenly to avoid breaks or bubbles.
- Cleaning and Inspection: Clean up debris and adhesive stains generated during the installation process, and check again whether functions such as door body sliding and locking are normal to ensure installation quality.
