Toilet Sliding Door Fixing Nail

Admin October 02, 2026

The installation and use of toilet sliding door fixing nails require comprehensive consideration from aspects such as selection, installation position, installation steps, and precautions.

Selection of fixing nails: There are various materials and specifications of fixing nails on the market. Common materials include stainless steel and aluminum alloy. Fixing nails made of different materials have differences in strength and corrosion resistance. In terms of specifications, they should be selected according to the weight and size of the door panel. Some are suitable for hollow glass doors, while others are suitable for solid glass doors. For example, a heavier solid glass door requires fixing nails with higher strength and larger specifications to ensure they can bear the weight of the door panel and guarantee stability after installation.

Determination of the installation position: Before installation, carefully measure the wall structure and the size of the door panel. Generally, the installation height is measured from the ground and slightly raised according to the height of the door panel. This allows the door panel to move more smoothly during operation and avoid collisions with the ground or other objects. At the same time, pay attention to the distance between door panels to ensure they can open and close freely without interfering with each other. For example, when installing double sliding doors, ensure there is sufficient clearance between the two doors so that they can slide smoothly.

Installation steps:

  • Use an electric drill to drill holes at the installation positions of the fixing nails. Keep the drill holes vertical to avoid affecting the installation effect of the fixing nails due to inclined holes. Also, be mindful of the position of electrical wires to prevent damaging them during drilling and causing safety hazards.
  • Align the fixing nails with the holes, add retaining pins, and tighten the nails to ensure the fixing nails are firmly installed on the wall.
  • Install the fixing nails on the door panel: Use a screwdriver to disassemble the sliding rail, insert the fixing nails from the cut-out, then fix and close them, and add a support plate on the inside to enhance the stability of the fixing nails.
  • Bring the door panel close to the wall, use the fixing nails for reinforcement, and fix the door panel to make it fit closely with the wall.
  • Install the fixing nails for the second and third door panels in sequence to ensure all door panels are firmly installed.

Precautions: During installation, ensure that the material and specification of the fixing nails meet the requirements and can bear the weight of the door panel. The selection of the installation position should be reasonable, taking into account the wall structure and the size of the door panel to ensure smooth movement between door panels. Also, ensure the levelness and perpendicularity during installation to avoid the door panels being installed askew, which will affect the usage effect and aesthetics.
