Toilet Portable Air Conditioner Installation Diagram
The essence of installing a portable air conditioner in a toilet is to avoid drilling holes, with the core being the correct connection of the exhaust duct and achieving a tight seal of the window. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation
After unpacking, check the accessories, which typically include an exhaust duct, window frame (or baffle), suction cup assembly, sealing strip, and some products come with a screwdriver. Confirm the window opening method (such as casement or sliding) and prepare scissors for cutting the sealing strip. Check the completeness of the accessories to avoid installation interruptions due to missing parts.
II. Installing the Exhaust Duct and Window Frame
- Connecting the Exhaust Duct: Take out the telescopic exhaust duct and pull out 1-2 buckles. Rotate the air outlet frame counterclockwise and screw it into the exhaust duct opening, rotating it 3-5 times to secure it. Connect the other end to the air outlet in the same way, ensuring a firm connection without looseness.
- Assembling the Window Frame: Adjust the length of the telescopic window frame according to the actual height of the window. Insert the elliptical end of the duct's reduced opening into the corresponding groove on the side of the window frame, and insert the pin to lock the length, forming a stable "window frame-exhaust duct" assembly.
III. Fixing to the Window
Place the assembly into the window frame and move the window sash to clamp the assembly tightly for initial fixation. To enhance safety, use the suction cup assembly to further connect the window frame, window frame, and window door to prevent the window frame from slipping. If the window is a sliding type, ensure that the assembly does not obstruct the normal opening and closing of the window.
IV. Connecting the Main Unit and Sealing
- Main Unit Connection: Align the inlet end of the duct assembly with the arrow mark and press it firmly into the exhaust outlet slot on the back of the main unit, ensuring it is fully seated to avoid air leakage.
- Window Sealing: Use the original flexible fitting baffle (PVC material with heat insulation cotton inside), whose upper and lower slide rails are suitable for window frame widths of 35-75cm. Ensure that the soft rubber ring at the edge of the baffle tightly wraps around the exhaust duct, achieving a state where it does not loosen when shaken and does not flatten when pressed. Seal the gaps with sealing strips or suction cups. It is strictly prohibited to use tape or cardboard as they have poor sealing effects and are prone to aging and detachment.
V. Inspection and Test Run
After installation, turn on the unit for a test run and check all connections and window gaps by hand. Only use it normally after confirming that there is no air leakage and no abnormal noise from the unit. If air leakage is found, readjust the position of the sealing strip or baffle to ensure the sealing performance meets the standard.
