Toilet Pit Relocation
Toilet pit relocation can be achieved through methods such as toilet bowl relocation, squat toilet relocation, relocation based on the house delivery condition, or the installation of a relocation device. The appropriate method should be selected based on the actual situation.

Toilet Bowl Relocation: If the pit distance does not match, a relocation device can be used to adjust the position. Under normal circumstances, the relocation distance should not exceed 7.5 centimeters. If a relocation of 10 centimeters is required, the user should be informed in advance that cutting marks will be visible on the floor. During operation, first measure the original and target pit distances from the wall to the toilet bowl to ensure consistency after relocation; mark the cutting line along the edge of the pipeline, use an angle grinder to make an opening in the floor tiles, dig to the appropriate depth, cut the original pipeline, insert the relocation device, and apply PVC glue for reinforcement. Additionally, the position can be adjusted through lateral movement. For example, when moving 7.5 centimeters to the left, mark the coverage area, ensure wall-mounted installation, keep a distance of 10 centimeters from the angle valve, dig 9 centimeters deep, fill with leak-stopping compound, and install a sealing ring to prevent leakage.
Squat Toilet Relocation: Prepare measuring tools, a level, and screwdrivers, etc. First, measure and plan the new position of the squat toilet to ensure reasonable space utilization and comfort. Use a level to ensure horizontal installation; carefully remove the old squat toilet, clean up the residue, and install the new squat toilet according to the new plan, paying attention to the sealing of the connecting pipeline; finally, repair and decorate the floor.
Relocation Based on House Delivery Condition: If the toilet drainage hole is a reserved pipeline interface and the floor has not been backfilled (approximately 300 millimeters below the plane), the homeowner can design the position of the drainage or water outlet interface by themselves, modify the pipeline layout, backfill, and then lay the floor, waterproof layer, and tiles. If the pipeline interface is fixed and there is no height difference on the floor after handover, the floor needs to be dug up to reconnect the pipeline to the target position. After backfilling, focus on repairing the waterproof layer in the damaged area to prevent leakage.
Relocation in Old Houses or Without Moving the Floor Pipeline Interface: A relocation device (available in building material stores) can be installed on the original pipeline interface to adjust the position by extending the pipeline. Note that the relocation device may reduce drainage smoothness, but it usually does not cause blockages and is suitable for scenarios with low relocation distance requirements.
