Toilet Movable Niche
Currently, there is no standard product for a 'toilet movable niche'. Conventional bathroom niches are designed to be fixed. To achieve mobility, customization or external storage solutions are required.

Characteristics of Conventional Bathroom Niches
Conventional bathroom niches are fixed storage spaces created by carving recesses directly into non-load-bearing walls or constructing them on walls through bricklaying or tile edging. Their core advantages include:
- Space-saving: They utilize vertical wall space, avoiding additional occupation of floor or protruding wall areas, making them particularly suitable for small bathrooms.
- Safe and durable: Integrated with the wall structure, they have no moving parts, eliminating concerns about load-bearing or loosening issues. Moreover, materials like tiles and stones are waterproof and moisture-resistant, ensuring a long service life.
- Rust-resistant: Compared to metal shelves, fixed niches have no metal connectors, making them less prone to rust or corrosion due to oxidation in humid environments.
Challenges in Achieving Mobility
The fixed nature of conventional niches stems from their physical connection to the wall. To achieve mobility, the following limitations must be overcome:
- Structural stability: Moving components need to bear the weight of daily items (such as toiletries). Improper design may lead to deformation or tipping.
- Waterproof sealing: The moving interfaces must ensure waterproof performance to prevent moisture from seeping into the wall or internal structure, causing mildew or damage.
- Space adaptability: Bathroom layouts are compact. Moving devices need to balance flexibility (such as adjustable positions) with stability (such as no wobbling after fixation), making design challenging.
Alternative Solution Recommendations
If mobile storage functionality is required, consider the following two approaches:
- Custom movable furniture: For example, place a wheeled storage cabinet in the corner of the bathroom. The cabinet surface should be waterproofed, and multiple shelves should be divided inside to provide both mobility and storage capacity.
- External storage racks: Choose floor-standing storage racks made of metal or plastic materials. Add anti-slip pads or locking wheels at the bottom to ensure stability during use and facilitate position adjustments as needed.
Note that the above solutions should be designed according to the actual dimensions, usage habits, and waterproof requirements of the bathroom. It is recommended to plan the movement paths in advance to avoid affecting daily activities.
