Mobile Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It is suitable for various places and has multiple types and notable features.

Suitable Places

Mobile toilets are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. They are not restricted by fixed buildings and can be flexibly deployed according to the density of pedestrian traffic and the location of events. Whether in urban business districts, large-scale exhibitions, or remote outdoor scenic spots, they can be quickly set up to promptly meet people's toilet needs. For example, at large outdoor music festivals, mobile toilets can be arranged in appropriate locations in advance to satisfy the toilet needs of a large number of spectators; at construction sites, they can provide convenient toilet facilities for workers.

Composition Structure

Generally, they are composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. These components work together to ensure the normal operation of mobile toilets. The fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat excrement, the sanitary ware provides basic tools for using the toilet, the water tank supplies water for flushing, and the mobile device facilitates the overall movement of the toilet.

Type Classification

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and independent, while the composite-structure type may be composed of multiple parts and may have more complex and diverse functions.
  • By moving method: They are classified into lifting and handling-type mobile toilets and powered and towed-type mobile toilets. The lifting and handling type is suitable for short-distance movement or handling by lifting equipment; the powered and towed type can be moved over long distances by means such as vehicle traction.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are divided into water-flush and waterless suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flush type mobile toilets, and dry-packing type mobile toilets. The water-flush type is similar to traditional toilets, using water to flush excrement; the waterless suction type treats feces by suction; the circulating water-flush type can recycle the flushing water; and the dry-packing type dry-packs the excrement for treatment.

Features and Advantages

They can be conveniently transported to any place where toilets need to be set up and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of being movable, combinable, and easy to transport. For example, the 2026 new lightweight plastic mobile toilet adopts a lightweight design, has usage signs, ventilation design, a large-capacity clean water tank, a gravity-flush sewage tank with a foot pump for use, and an exhaust pipe to effectively remove odors.
