Toilet Mobile Drainage Pipe
The toilet mobile drainage pipe usually refers to a toilet offset connector, which is a pipe fitting used to adjust the mismatch between the toilet's drainage outlet and the reserved drainage outlet in the bathroom. It can change the front-back or left-right position of the drainage outlet, but attention should be paid to the offset distance, installation timing, and potential issues.

Core Functions and Applicable Scenarios
The toilet offset connector is mainly used to solve the common problem of "drainage outlet misalignment" in bathroom renovations. When the reserved drainage outlet does not correspond to the actual drainage outlet of the toilet (such as being too far apart or having a directional deviation), the offset connector can achieve a connection by extending or redirecting the pipe. Its common offset distance is 5 to 10 centimeters, and in special cases, it can be extended to 15 centimeters. However, exceeding this range may lead to poor drainage due to an excessively long pipe, so it is generally not recommended.
Installation Requirements and Construction Points
- Installation Timing: Installation should be completed before laying floor tiles. If the floor has already been tiled, some tiles need to be chiseled out or the floor needs to be raised to adjust the slope, increasing the construction difficulty.
- Drainage Slope: The greater the offset distance, the higher the requirement for the drainage slope. For example, when offset by 10 centimeters, the pipe should maintain a slope of at least 2% (i.e., a drop of 2 centimeters per meter) to ensure smooth sewage discharge. Insufficient slope can easily cause blockages or backflow.
- Sealing Treatment: The connections between the offset connector and the toilet, as well as the original drainage outlet, should be sealed with a thickened flange sealing ring or special glue to prevent water leakage and odor emission.
Potential Issues and Precautions
- Blockage Risk: The offset connector increases the number of pipe bends, leading to increased water flow resistance. If the flushing force is insufficient during use or the excreta is too large, blockages may occur.
- Sewage Backflow: An increase in pipe bends can change the air pressure distribution. If the drainage system is not reasonably designed (such as not having a trap or vent pipe), sewage backflow to the toilet may occur due to air pressure fluctuations.
- Reduced Flushing Effect: After offsetting, the siphon flushing effect of the toilet may be weakened. It is necessary to choose a toilet model with stronger flushing force or increase the number of flushes.
Market Products and Prices
The offset connectors on the market are mainly made of PVC, and common types include:
- 10-centimeter standard offset connector: Suitable for small-scale adjustments, priced at approximately 5 to 20 yuan;
- Adjustable offset connector: Supports multi-directional fine-tuning, priced at approximately 20 to 50 yuan;
- Matching sealing ring/flange: Used to enhance sealing, priced at approximately 3 to 10 yuan.
It is recommended to choose a thickened offset connector with a thickness of ≥3 millimeters and prioritize purchasing models with anti-odor design to reduce later maintenance costs.
