1. Main works in steel, reinforced concrete, or masonry structures for glass skylights must comply with relevant structural construction and acceptance standards. 2. Materials, specifications, colors, and performance of components and accessories must meet design requirements. 3. Installation of large glass skylights requires a dedicated construction organization design. 4. Establish safety production and civilized construction regulations. (II) Pre-installation site preparation: 1. The client or general contractor must provide water and power during construction (including domestic water); electrical distance as needed, maximum 50 m. 2. The client or general contractor must provide vertical transport equipment. 3. The client or general contractor must provide temporary storage. 4. The contractor must submit work platform and scaffolding plans in writing. (III) Installation preparation: 1. No collision or damage during transport and hoisting. 2. Components must be stacked on dedicated racks or dunnage by type and specification; outdoor storage requires protection. 3. Inspect and correct components before installation—they must be straight, regular, without deformation or scratches; defective parts must not be installed. 4. Drilling and accessory installation must be accurate in position and dimension. 5. Embedded parts connecting glass skylights to the main structure must be set during main structure construction per design; they must be secure, correctly positioned, with elevation difference ≤ 10 mm and position deviation ≤ 20 mm from design. 6. Installation tools must be strictly inspected before use. IV. Construction process: survey and layout → material arrival → embedded part acceptance → accessory acceptance → connector acceptance → safety glass acceptance → keel installation acceptance → glass installation → sealant cleaning → physical performance testing. V. Quality control: (1) Glass skylight project quality must strictly follow Standard for Inspection of Glass Curtain Wall Engineering Quality (JGJ/J139), Technical Code for Glass Curtain Wall Engineering (JGJ102), and national, industry, and regional regulations.
