Thermal Insulation Panels for Prefabricated Building Surfaces

Admin September 19, 2026

Thermal insulation panels for prefabricated building surfaces mainly include prefabricated thermal insulation wall panels, fireproof thermal insulation composite panels, prefabricated thermal insulation roof panels, and exterior wall energy-saving composite panels (integrated thermal insulation panels).

Prefabricated thermal insulation wall panels are pre-made 'sandwich walls' in factories, with a thermal insulation layer sandwiched in the middle. The innermost layer is a load-bearing structural layer, filled with thermal insulation materials such as rock wool or polystyrene boards. The outermost layer comes with a decorative finish, allowing for one-time molding without the need for further decoration. The thermal insulation layer effectively locks in heat within the building, significantly reducing energy consumption. Construction is extremely fast, with on-site assembly similar to building with Lego blocks, and work can proceed even in rainy weather. The exterior wall tiles and coatings are completed at the factory, matching the lifespan of the building.

Fireproof thermal insulation composite panels are energy-saving materials for building exteriors, composed of thermal insulation layers such as XPS/EPS/rock wool combined with calcium silicate boards and decorative layers. They integrate thermal insulation and decorative functions. Prefabricated into finished panels in factories, they can replace traditional thin plaster and dry-hanging curtain wall systems, featuring convenient construction, fire resistance, earthquake resistance, and strong weather resistance. These materials use anchoring systems and waterproofing techniques to achieve reliable connections with the base wall. They are designed with cavity-free technology to adapt to different climatic conditions. During system maintenance, the surface decorative finish can be directly replaced, with a decorative layer lifespan of over 25 years.

Prefabricated thermal insulation roof panels come in various brands, such as Hengdao Zhongyuan and Qiyuan Energy Saving. The core materials include polystyrene boards, polyester fibers, polyurethane, cement, concrete, inorganic materials, rock wool, inorganic fibers, and composite materials. The compressive strength ranges from 0.24 MPa to 9999 MPa, with flexural strengths available in various specifications such as 1 MPa, 2 MPa, 16 MPa, 50 MPa, 60 MPa, 78 MPa, 83 MPa, and 86 MPa.

Exterior wall energy-saving composite panels (integrated thermal insulation panels) are prefabricated composite energy-saving thermal insulation panels formed in factories. They integrate thermal insulation core materials, high-strength base plates, and composite adhesive layers into one piece. Various core materials can be selected, such as rock wool, graphite polystyrene boards, and extruded polystyrene boards. They can achieve Class A fire resistance as needed, with low thermal conductivity and excellent thermal insulation performance, significantly reducing building heating and cooling energy consumption.
