The Whole Process of Container Mobile Housing

Admin September 16, 2026

The installation or construction process of container mobile housing can be divided into three typical processes according to different types: loose-piece quick-assembly container houses, high-end container villas, and simple container houses. The core steps all include structural construction, water and electricity installation, and decoration, as follows:

Installation Process of Loose-Piece Quick-Assembly Container Houses

  1. Structural Construction

    • Bottom Frame: Taking a 3×6-meter specification as an example, the chassis is welded with channel steel, and the crossbeams use 4×8×2.0 square steel with a spacing of 35 centimeters to ensure load-bearing stability.
    • Columns and Roof: Four columns are spliced with corner fittings and fixed with screws. After the bottom beam screws are tightened, they are reinforced with an electric drill for a second time. The roof's four perimeter beams are fully welded with 5×5×2.0 square steel to form an overall frame.
    • Wall and Roof Panels: The wall and roof panels use 50mm thick purification panels (white on both sides). The window is equipped with a 930×1000 sliding window, and the door is a 930×2000 specially made color steel plate door, taking into account both sealing and durability.
  2. Floor Treatment
The chassis is laid with 18mm thick building templates, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 200 kilograms per square meter. The surface is covered with high-grade floor leather to improve comfort and moisture resistance.

  3. Water, Electricity, and Decoration

    • Install lighting fixtures (in the middle of the house), switches (beside the door), sockets (60 centimeters from the ground), and air conditioning holes, reserving space for functional expansion.
    • Install window security grilles and seal them with glass curtain wall waterproof glue to ensure safety and waterproofing.

Renovation Process of High-End Container Villas

  1. Structural Renovation
Cut the container into sections and install aluminum alloy windows and glass doors to optimize lighting and ventilation.

  2. Internal Framework
Drill holes along the iron sheet to fix light steel keels and reserve water and electricity interfaces (switches, sockets, exhaust pipes) to provide a basis for subsequent functional layout.

  3. Sound Insulation and Heat Insulation

    • Roof: Use foam boards as the base and cover them with oriented strand boards. For waterproofing, use torch-applied membrane materials to improve heat insulation and waterproofing performance.
    • Walls: Fill the inner side of the keels with foam glue and cover the outer side with density board veneer to enhance sound insulation.
  4. Surface Decoration

    • Complete putty and latex paint construction indoors to create a warm living environment.
    • Wrap the frame with specially made panels outdoors and add a steel-frame leisure area beside the windows to improve aesthetics and practicality.

Installation Process of Simple Container Houses

  1. Chassis Welding
The steel frame chassis is welded with 140×50 channel steel around the perimeter, and the columns and roof perimeter beams are fully welded to ensure structural stability.

  2. Quick Assembly
The columns are spliced with corner fittings, and the bottom beam screws are fixed and then reinforced with an electric drill, simplifying the construction process and shortening the construction period.

The complexity of different processes depends on the positioning of the house. For example, economical quick-assembly houses focus on rapid deployment, while luxury villas emphasize functionality and comfort. However, all must strictly follow the principles of structural safety and functional rationality.
