Dimensions of Temporary Mobile Toilets

Admin September 29, 2026

The dimensions of temporary mobile toilets vary significantly depending on their configurations and scenario requirements, primarily falling into four categories: basic dimensions, combined/extended dimensions, special scenario dimensions, and other common specifications. Here is a detailed classification description:

Basic dimensions are the most common specifications for mobile toilets, suitable for single-squat-position or simple scenarios. The common specification for a single-squat-position toilet is 1.2 meters (width) × 1.5 meters (length), with a height typically ranging from 2.05 meters to 2.3 meters, suitable for multi-squat-position combinations. The external dimensions of a simple model are 1.1 meters × 1.1 meters × 2.3 meters, equipped with basic sanitary facilities inside and supporting shower functionality (optional). The regular single-person model has dimensions of 110 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, while the mini single-person model is reduced to 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 220 cm in height, suitable for temporary scenarios with limited space.

Combined/extended dimensions meet the needs of multiple users through modular design. Multi-squat-position combination models can extend their length based on the basic model, for example, forming a configuration of 1.2 meters × 1.6 meters × 2.05 meters (height). The double-person model typically has dimensions of 180 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, suitable for families or small groups. Such designs achieve functional expansion by increasing length or width while maintaining the same height as the standard model.

Special scenario dimensions are optimized for specific needs. The wheelchair-accessible model has a width of 1.5 meters and a length of 2.4 meters, with the same height as the standard model to ensure wheelchair turning space. The internal clear width of an accessible toilet cubicle must be ≥1.5 meters, and the clear depth must be ≥1.8 meters, in compliance with accessible design standards. Large container-type mobile public toilets can have a length of over 6 meters and a width of over 2.5 meters, suitable for high-traffic public places.

Other common specifications cover general-purpose products. The external dimensions of a single-pit model range from 1.2 meters to 1.5 meters in length, 1.0 meter to 1.2 meters in width, and 2.2 meters to 2.5 meters in height. The length of a two-pit unit may reach 2.4 meters to 3.0 meters, with the width remaining at 1.0 meter to 1.2 meters. When selecting, it is necessary to consider the usage scenario (such as construction sites, scenic spots, temporary accommodations) and functional configurations (such as showers, self-circulating systems) comprehensively.
