Temporary Container House Curtain
Admin September 15, 2026
The curtains for temporary container houses are mainly used for sunshade, dust prevention, privacy protection, and decoration. They are commonly seen in residential containers, mobile houses, and other scenarios. The material, installation method, and functional design of the curtains need to be selected based on specific usage requirements.

Material and Types
The curtains for temporary container houses come in a variety of materials, including PVC-coated fabric, polyester fabric, and canvas.
- PVC-coated fabric: It has strong waterproof, sun-resistant, and anti-aging properties, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use. It can effectively block rainwater penetration and reduce the damage caused by ultraviolet rays to indoor items.
- Polyester fabric: It is lightweight, has good air permeability, and is relatively inexpensive. However, its waterproof performance is weak, making it suitable for short-term or dry environments.
- Canvas: It is highly durable but relatively heavy, requiring additional support structures for installation. It is mostly used in scenarios with high durability requirements.
Functional Design
The functional design of the curtains should be combined with the usage scenario:
- Sunshade and heat insulation: In high-temperature areas, the curtains can reflect sunlight, lower indoor temperature, and reduce air conditioning energy consumption. For example, some container houses adopt a double-layer curtain design, with the outer layer made of reflective material and the inner layer made of thermal insulation cotton to further enhance heat insulation.
- Dust prevention and privacy: In construction sites or temporary office scenarios, the curtains can block dust from entering and protect indoor privacy. Some curtains are made of semi-transparent materials, ensuring both lighting and preventing direct external views.
- Decoration and aesthetics: Some customized container houses choose curtain colors or patterns that match the overall style to enhance visual effects. For example, a scenic area sales kiosk may use colorful curtains to attract customers.
Installation Methods
The installation method of the curtains should consider convenience and stability:
- Track installation: Suitable for scenarios that require frequent opening and closing, such as the doors and windows of container houses. The track can be fixed to the container frame, and the curtain moves through pulleys, making operation simple.
- Fixed installation: Suitable for areas that do not require long-term opening and closing, such as side enclosures. The curtain is directly fixed to the container surface with rivets or screws, providing a stable structure.
- Detachable installation: Some curtains are designed as modular and can be fixed with buckles or Velcro, facilitating cleaning or replacement.
