Tacheng Scenic Area Ecological Mobile Toilets

Admin October 07, 2026

Tacheng Prefecture has achieved certain construction results in ecological mobile toilets in scenic areas and offers relevant rental services, but the prevalence and specific types of ecological mobile toilets require further clarification.

Firstly, regarding the construction of mobile toilets on key tourist routes, Tacheng Prefecture has clear plans. The subsidy project for mobile toilets on key tourist routes across Xinjiang in 2025 involves the construction of four mobile toilets along the G217 and G219 highways in Tacheng Prefecture. Specific locations include K610 and K659 on the Duku Highway (Wusu Section), Jialepaketale Village in Halabula Township, Yumin County, and Parking Lot No. 8 at Songhai Bay Scenic Area in Hoboksar County. The construction of these mobile toilets will help improve the level of tourist service facilities on key tourist routes and meet the toilet needs of tourists. Some or all of them may adopt the design concept of ecological mobile toilets to reduce their impact on the environment.

Secondly, professional companies in Tacheng Prefecture offer mobile toilet rental services. These services cover a variety of scenarios, including marathons, concerts, music festivals, and construction sites, indicating a wide range of applications for mobile toilets in the region. However, the current information does not explicitly mention whether these rented mobile toilets are ecological mobile toilets. Ecological mobile toilets typically feature water conservation, energy efficiency, and environmental protection. If these rental services can provide ecological mobile toilets, it will further promote Tacheng Prefecture's efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development.

Additionally, Tacheng Prefecture currently has 68 A-grade tourist attractions, including 182 water-flush toilets with 1,259 toilet stalls. However, this information does not clarify whether these toilets are ecological mobile toilets. Although water-flush toilets have improved sanitary conditions to some extent, they may not be as efficient as ecological mobile toilets in terms of water resource utilization and environmental protection. Therefore, there is still room for further optimization and upgrading in the construction of toilets in scenic areas in Tacheng Prefecture.
