Mobile Toilets of Suzhou District Sanitation Bureau

Admin October 11, 2026

The Suzhou District Sanitation Bureau has carried out work in mobile toilet allocation for major events and the construction and management of public toilets in urban areas.

Regarding the allocation of mobile toilets for major events: The Suzhou District Sanitation Center actively leverages the advantage of the 'mobile' toilet service provided by mobile public toilets, making reasonable allocations in various major events. For example, during tree-planting activities, four mobile public toilets were allocated to serve nearly three thousand cadres and the public. In recent years, across major events in the district such as project inspections, exhibition events, and tree-planting activities, a total of over 200 mobile public toilet allocations have been made. This allocation method effectively resolves the toilet shortage caused by the concentration of people during major events, ensuring the smooth progress of the events. It reflects the flexibility and efficiency of the Suzhou District Sanitation Bureau in responding to large-scale events, enabling precise allocation of mobile toilet resources according to the scale and needs of different events, and providing convenience for event participants.

Regarding the construction and management of public toilets in urban areas: The Suzhou District Sanitation Bureau continuously increases its capital investment and vigorously promotes the construction and renovation projects of urban public toilets. As of now, 155 public toilets have been built in the Jiuquan urban area, with 140 of them being open to the public free of charge. Among the 110 public toilets directly managed by the Suzhou District Sanitation Bureau, the newly purchased mobile public toilets have undergone comprehensive upgrades. All of them have been equipped with electric wall-mounted furnaces and other heating systems, making the toilet environment warmer and more comfortable during cold seasons and enhancing the user experience for citizens. At the same time, men's urinals have been added to further optimize the functional layout of the public toilets and improve their usage efficiency. In addition, the level of intelligence, such as background music and voice prompts, has been enhanced, creating a warm toilet environment. These measures not only demonstrate the importance the Suzhou District Sanitation Bureau attaches to the construction and management of public toilets but also reflect its determination to improve the quality of urban public services and create a higher-quality, more convenient, and comfortable living environment for citizens.
