Strong Wind Blowing Away Mobile Toilet
Strong winds do have the potential to blow away mobile toilets.

Under normal windy conditions, whether a mobile toilet can remain stable depends on multiple factors. If the mobile toilet is reasonably designed, equipped with sturdy ground anchors and other fixing devices, has undergone wind-resistant reinforcement during installation, and is located in a sheltered area shielded by buildings or trees, it can usually remain stable and is not easily blown away by strong winds. This is because the sturdy fixing devices can enhance the connection between the mobile toilet and the ground, making it less prone to displacement under wind forces; and choosing a sheltered location can reduce the direct impact of wind on the mobile toilet, lowering the risk of it being blown away.
However, in extreme windy conditions, such as strong typhoons or tornadoes, even qualified mobile toilets may not be able to withstand the impact of strong winds. The wind forces in these extreme weather conditions are extremely powerful and can generate enough destructive force to blow down, overturn, or even carry away mobile toilets. For example, in a park in Colorado, USA, a sudden gust of wind once lifted two mobile toilets to a height of 30 meters. The mobile toilets kept flipping in the air, and the collected waste inside poured out.
In addition, if the mobile toilet is not effectively fixed, or if the fixing devices are aged or damaged, or if the material quality is poor and the structure is unstable, there may be a risk of displacement or disintegration even under moderate wind forces. For example, beside a reservoir in Phatthalung's Pak Phorng district, a sudden gust of wind carried away an entire simple restroom, leaving only the toilet bowl standing alone. This fully illustrates the importance of fixing devices and material quality for the stability of mobile toilets.
