Squat Toilet Mobile Restroom

Admin September 21, 2026

A squat toilet mobile restroom is a facility that can be moved as a whole and provides toilet services to the public. It comes in various types, structural forms, mobility methods, and sewage treatment approaches, offering advantages such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

Types: Common types include the three-squat-position mobile restroom, which features an overall design with metal carved panels in a gray and white color scheme. Its frame is welded from galvanized square steel, and it includes two toilet compartments, a management room, and a restroom, with a gray aluminum alloy exterior door and complete internal water, electricity, and sanitary fixtures. The four-squat-position mobile restroom has a flat roof design, also using gray and white metal carved panels. It features a public handwashing area in the middle, with two squat positions each in the men's and women's restrooms, and complete internal sanitary fixtures and utilities. It is ready for use upon arrival, requiring only connection to pipelines. The double-squat-position mobile restroom measures 2.5 meters by 2.6 meters in width and length, with a height of 3 meters. Its exterior walls are made of metal carved panels in a brick red and gray color scheme, equipped with 500mm steps, a dedicated restroom door, an occupancy indicator, and internal features including ceramic squat toilets on tiled floors, a handwashing sink, an exhaust fan, a PC ceiling, and LED ceiling lights.

Structural Forms: They can be divided into single-unit structural mobile restrooms and composite structural mobile restrooms. Single-unit structures are relatively independent, while composite structures may be more complex and diverse in terms of functional or spatial combinations.

Mobility Methods: There are lifting and handling-type mobile restrooms, which rely on lifting equipment or manual handling for movement; and powered and towed-type mobile restrooms, which can be moved by power drive or towing vehicles, suitable for different scenarios and distances of mobility needs.

Sewage Treatment Methods: They are categorized into water-flush and waterless suction-type mobile restrooms. The former uses water flush to direct waste into storage tanks or disposal units, while the latter requires no water and treats waste through suction. The circulating water-flush type mobile restroom recycles flushing water to conserve water resources; the dry-packing type mobile restroom packages waste in a dry form for easy subsequent cleanup and transportation.

These characteristics of squat toilet mobile restrooms make them widely applicable in various locations and settings with fixed or temporary needs, such as construction sites, large event venues, and tourist attractions.
