Dimensions of Mobile Toilets in Squares

Admin September 22, 2026

The dimensions of mobile toilets in squares vary depending on the type and requirements, and can be broadly classified into three types: single-stall, multi-stall combinations, and accessible stalls.

For single-stall specifications, a standard independent single-stall mobile public toilet typically has external dimensions with a length ranging from 1.2 meters to 1.5 meters, a width from 1.0 meter to 1.2 meters, and a height generally between 2.2 meters and 2.5 meters. Some sources suggest that single-person mobile toilets have lengths ranging from 1.1 meters to 1.5 meters, widths from 1 meter to 1.2 meters, and heights starting at 2.2 meters. This type of mobile toilet is suitable for scenarios with limited space or low foot traffic, such as small squares and temporary event venues, meeting basic toilet needs while being easy to move and install.

In terms of multi-stall combination specifications, a two-stall unit may have a length ranging from 2.4 meters to 3.0 meters, with the width remaining at 1.0 meter to 1.2 meters. Larger container-style mobile public toilets can have lengths exceeding 6 meters and widths exceeding 2.5 meters, potentially containing multiple male and female stalls, accessible toilets, and management rooms. Some manufacturers design mobile toilets with four squat stalls and one hand-washing area, with a length of 6 meters. This type of mobile toilet is suitable for squares and scenic spots with high foot traffic, improving toilet efficiency and reducing waiting times.

Regarding accessible stall dimensions, accessible stalls should ideally be 2.00m × 1.50m, and should not be smaller than 1.80m × 1.00m; the clear width of the door should not be less than 800mm, and if it opens inward, a wheelchair turning space with a diameter of not less than 1.50m should be left inside the stall after opening. The "Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics Accessibility Guidelines" stipulate that accessible stalls should ideally be 2.20m × 1.80m, and the clear space should not be less than 1.80m × 1.50m under restricted conditions; the clear width of the door should not be less than 850mm, and should not be less than 800mm under restricted conditions. This type of mobile toilet fully considers the needs of disabled individuals, demonstrating humanistic care and social responsibility.
