Specifications of Toilets in Mobile Toilets

Admin October 19, 2026

The specifications of toilets in mobile toilets generally refer to the standards of ordinary household toilets, but specific dimensions need to be adjusted according to the actual design. Common specifications are as follows:

I. Basic Dimension Range

  1. Length: The length of ordinary toilets is generally between 60 and 80 centimeters. Floor-mounted toilets, with their drainage pipes directly connected to the ground, usually have a length of 60-70 centimeters; wall-mounted toilets, with their drainage pipes embedded in the wall, typically have a fixed length of 60 centimeters. For mobile toilets, if a floor-mounted design is adopted, the length may approach the lower limit (60-70 centimeters) to save space; for wall-mounted designs, the 60-centimeter standard may be directly used.
  2. Width: It is recommended that the width be between 37 and 45 centimeters, and it can be compressed to about 30 centimeters in small spaces (such as mobile toilets). Due to the limited area of mobile toilets, the width is more likely to be close to 30-37 centimeters, ensuring that users can sit comfortably without feeling cramped.
  3. Height: The overall height ranges from 70 to 83 centimeters. Smart toilets, with integrated electronic components, generally have a height of about 70 centimeters; wall-hung toilets, with their water tanks hidden in the wall, have a height of about 74 centimeters. For mobile toilets with a simple design, a basic height of 70-72 centimeters may be chosen; if functionality is pursued, the 70-centimeter standard of smart toilets may be adopted.

II. Key Parameter: Trap Distance

The trap distance (the distance from the center of the drainage pipe to the wall) is a core parameter for installation, with common standards of 30 centimeters and 40 centimeters. For mobile toilets, the measurement value needs to be adjusted according to the thickness of the wall material (such as metal or plastic): if tiles are applied or an insulation layer is added, 2-3 centimeters should be added to the standard value; if directly fixed to a lightweight wall, installation may be carried out according to the original values of 30 centimeters or 40 centimeters.

III. Pipeline Relocation Adaptation

If the drainage pipe position in a mobile toilet needs to be adjusted, a toilet relocator is required:

  • Flat type: With a width of 10-20 centimeters and a height of 3-5 centimeters, it is suitable for short-distance (≤15 centimeters) relocation. It achieves pipeline transition by raising the ground and is commonly used in scenarios where the ground is uneven or fine adjustments are needed.
  • Circular pipe type: With a diameter of 110 millimeters (mainstream) or 90 millimeters (for old pipes), the length is customized according to the actual relocation distance. It is suitable for long-distance (>15 centimeters) relocation and requires the pipeline to be pre-embedded and the slope to be ensured to avoid blockage.

Summary: The specifications of toilets in mobile toilets are oriented towards being compact and practical. The length may be compressed to 60-70 centimeters, the width to 30-37 centimeters, and the height to 70-72 centimeters; the trap distance should be selected as 30 or 40 centimeters according to the wall thickness; if relocation is required, priority should be given to using a flat relocator (for short distances) or a circular pipe relocator (for long distances). The specific design needs to be comprehensively determined according to the size, functional requirements, and installation conditions of the mobile toilet.
