Specifications of Prefabricated House Slabs

Admin September 18, 2026

The specifications of prefabricated house slabs mainly include span (length), width, thickness, length modulus, and live load capacity.

In terms of span (length), the longest prefabricated slab for residential use is 4.2 meters, and it does not follow a modulus. If the length exceeds this, customization is required. The length specifications of ordinary slabs are diverse, with common sizes including 3000mm, 3300mm, 3600mm, 3900mm, and 4200mm. Special slabs have lengths of 3800mm and 4000mm to meet the needs of different construction scenarios.

For width specifications, 500mm and 600mm are more common, while 400mm is also available as an option. Different width specifications are suitable for different architectural layouts and design requirements, meeting diverse construction needs.

In terms of thickness, common thicknesses are 120mm and 150mm. Among them, 120mm is the standard thickness, suitable for general construction scenarios. If water pipes and electrical wires need to be embedded within the prefabricated slab, a thickness of at least 150mm should be chosen to ensure the smooth laying of pipes and wires and the structural strength of the slab.

The length modulus is generally 300mm, which is why ordinary slabs have lengths of 3000, 3300, 3600, 3900, and 4200mm. This modular design helps improve the production efficiency and installation convenience of prefabricated slabs, enabling them to better adapt to the dimensional requirements of building structures.

The live load capacity is also an important indicator in the specifications of prefabricated house slabs. Class I slabs have a live load of 1KN/m², Class II slabs have 2KN/m², Class III slabs have 3KN/m², and Class IV slabs have 4KN/m². Generally, Class I and Class II slabs can meet the needs of ordinary housing. However, in areas or buildings with higher load requirements, the minimum standard may be Class IV slabs to ensure the safety and stability of the building.
