Space Capsule Mobile Toilet

Admin October 09, 2026

Space capsule mobile toilets have practical applications in daily life and offer multiple advantages.

I. Application Examples
Currently, space capsule mobile toilets have been deployed in some regions. For instance, four such toilets have been installed in Jiaozuo, Henan, at public locations such as the Yingbin Road highway exit and Qinquan Lake Double Support Park. The selection of these locations reflects their suitability for areas with high foot traffic and temporary needs, such as transportation hubs and tourist attractions.

II. Functional Features

  1. Human-Centered Design: Equipped with facilities like grab bars for the elderly, emergency call buttons, and paper dispensers, catering to diverse user needs; the entrance is clean and odor-free, featuring an automatic flushing system to enhance the user experience.
  2. Environmental Technology: Achieves “zero emissions and zero pollution” through an automatic internal circulation system, eliminating the need for sewer connections, reducing water consumption, and minimizing environmental pollution; it also maintains high internal cleanliness and is easy to maintain.
  3. Flexibility and Adaptability: Occupies a small footprint and can be relocated at any time, making it suitable for temporary events and post-disaster reconstruction; constructed from galvanized corrugated steel, it is durable, withstands temperatures from 1-50°C, and operates within a voltage range of 185-365V, adapting to various climates and power conditions.

III. Commercial Customization and Cost
Manufacturers offer new models of space capsule mobile toilets, supporting customization of size and internal configurations to meet individual needs. Starting from January 8, 2024, the minimum order quantity is one unit, priced from 5,500 yuan, with flexible customization services suitable for small-scale purchases or pilot applications.

IV. Differences from Space Toilets
It is important to note that space capsule mobile toilets used in daily life differ fundamentally from the “space toilets” on the International Space Station. The latter are designed for microgravity environments, using specialized devices to handle astronaut waste, involving complex technology and high costs; whereas the former focus on ground-level environmental protection and convenience, with distinct technological approaches and usage scenarios.

In summary, through technological innovation and human-centered design, space capsule mobile toilets have become a novel solution in the field of public facilities, combining practicality with environmental value.
