Small Grassland Mobile Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

The small grassland mobile toilet is designed specifically for the characteristics of the grassland areas in Inner Mongolia, featuring regional adaptability and cultural identity, and achieving remarkable results in meeting public sanitation needs.

Precise Functional Positioning: The mobile toilet kiosks in Inner Mongolia, as a typical form of small grassland mobile toilets, effectively address the issues of high construction costs, significant ecological impacts, and insufficient flexibility associated with fixed toilets in grassland areas. They are distributed along the core routes of grassland tourist areas, with one toilet placed every 10 - 15 kilometers, covering key tourist regions and facilitating easy access for tourists. In nomadic areas, they follow the migration routes of herders, serving as “mobile public service points” to meet the daily needs of herders. During large-scale events, they can be deployed in bulk as temporary facilities to quickly meet high demand.

Advanced Environmental Protection Technology: Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as vacuum extraction and biological treatment, these toilets use only a fraction of the water required by traditional flush toilets while ensuring cleanliness, significantly alleviating water resource pressure in grassland areas and aligning with the actual situation of water scarcity in these regions.

Outstanding Design Features:

  • Coping with Extreme Climates: Double-layer insulated walls, electric floor heating systems, solar ventilation caps, double-glazed windows, and sand-proof seals are employed to ensure normal operation in extreme environments characterized by long winters, low temperatures, strong summer ultraviolet rays, and frequent sandstorms, guaranteeing the stable functioning of the toilets.
  • Integration of Ethnic Culture: The exterior design draws inspiration from traditional elements such as yurts and oboos, featuring a circular dome structure and wall decorations with traditional patterns like curled grass “cloud motifs”. Some kiosks also incorporate relevant designs on their tops, enhancing cultural identity among local residents and tourists.

Excellent Application Results: According to data from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism in 2023, over 1,200 mobile toilet kiosks have been deployed across the region, covering 80% of key tourist attractions and nomadic sumus (townships). Tourist satisfaction with public toilets has increased from 62% in 2018 to 88% in 2023, fully demonstrating their effectiveness and popularity in practical applications.
