Sliding Container House Decoration
The decoration of sliding container houses should take into account functional zoning, thermal performance optimization, and modular design. By reasonably planning the space, improving thermal insulation, and customizing furniture,居住舒适性与实用性 (living comfort and practicality) can be achieved.

1. Functional Zoning and Modular Design of Space
The fixed size of container houses (commonly 3 meters × 6 meters) requires modular design to achieve functional superposition. The kitchen and bathroom are concentrated at one end of the container to form a wet area, and integrated bathroom technology is used to achieve waterproof integration and reduce the difficulty of pipeline laying. The living and sleeping areas achieve day-night functional switching through variable furniture, such as wall-mounted folding tables that can be stored against the wall during non-meal times and drop-down beds that can be folded up to free up activity space. Systematic planning of item storage is necessary, otherwise the actual usable area may shrink by more than 20%. It is recommended to adopt a combination of closed and open storage designs to increase space utilization.
2. Thermal Performance Optimization and Structural Upgrades
Metal containers have a high thermal conductivity coefficient, and their thermal insulation performance needs to be improved through a three-layer structure: The outer layer uses 0.6-millimeter-thick galvanized sheets to resist wind and sand erosion, the middle layer is filled with 80-100-millimeter-thick rock wool as the main insulation layer, and the inner layer uses PVC-coated steel sheets to reduce thermal radiation. Some companies also add an elevated layer at the bottom of the container to block ground cold bridge conduction. The sealing strips of doors and windows and the joints need to be airtightly treated, otherwise local condensation may occur. In addition, solar panels can be added to solve the electricity problem and improve energy self-sufficiency.
3. Decoration Style and Material Selection
The decoration style of container houses is flexible, and industrial, minimalist, and pastoral styles can all be achieved. The exterior can be painted with black smooth paint paired with natural wood interiors, or materials such as tempered glass and wood can be used to create a warm atmosphere. Internal decoration should focus on waterproofing and moisture resistance, such as using blue gradient tiles in the bathroom and choosing marble for the suspended sink to improve durability. Furniture selection should be simple and foldable, such as straight-line kitchen counters and custom folding beds, to balance functionality and space flexibility.
4. Relocation and Structural Maintenance
The single lifting and transportation cost of a container house is approximately 15-25 yuan per kilometer. After arriving at a new site, it only needs to be connected to water and electricity for use, and the low relocation cost has given rise to the 'mobile living' model. However, it should be noted that the connecting bolts of the container are prone to fatigue and wear after multiple disassemblies and assemblies. When the number of disassemblies and assemblies exceeds 5 times, the risk of structural deformation increases by about 15%, and regular inspections and bolt replacements are required.
