Single-Room Mobile Toilet Installation
Admin September 22, 2026
The installation of a single-room mobile toilet should follow a standardized process, covering pre-installation preparation, on-site installation, acceptance inspection, and precautions. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-Installation Preparation
- Site Planning: Confirm the installation location in advance, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacle-filled areas. Ensure that the width of the access passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve operating space. If installing in an area with strong winds, reserve additional space for securing the toilet.
- Material Inspection: Check the quantity, model, and accessories (such as washbasins, flushing devices, sewage pipes, etc.) of the mobile toilet. Ensure that the equipment has no visible damage on the exterior and that internal facilities (such as water tanks and toilets) are intact to prevent installation interruptions due to missing or damaged parts.
- Tools and Personnel: Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange 2-3 professional installers. If the toilet body is heavy (e.g., over 200 kg), coordinate with lifting equipment such as cranes to assist with handling and avoid manual handling risks.
II. On-Site Installation Steps
- Foundation Fixing:
- Lift the toilet body to the designated position and use a spirit level to adjust it for stability, with a horizontal deviation not exceeding 3 mm to prevent inconvenience in use or structural damage due to tilting.
- Fix the equipment with expansion bolts (suitable for hard ground) or counterweights (suitable for soft ground) to ensure stability, especially strengthening the fixation in areas with wind speeds ≥5 levels.
- Water and Electricity Connection:
- Connect the sewage pipe to the sewer or sewage collection tank, ensuring a pipe slope of ≥2% to prevent sewage backflow or blockage.
- Connect to the water source (it is recommended to use a water pipe with a diameter ≥DN20) and test the flushing function and drainage tightness to ensure no leakage.
- Detail Refinement:
- Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, and check that door locks and flush buttons are flexible to avoid usage obstacles.
- Clean and disinfect the interior, place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper to enhance the user experience.
III. Post-Installation Acceptance Inspection
- Function Testing:
- Press the flush button three times in a row and observe whether the drainage is smooth, with no blockage or odor.
- Evenly step on the top of the equipment to check its structural stability, ensuring no shaking or abnormal noises.
- Document Delivery: Provide the customer with an Equipment Installation Acceptance Certificate, indicating the installation date, warranty period (usually 1-3 years), and usage instructions (such as water-saving mode operation and emergency contact information).
IV. Precautions
- Safety Regulations: Wear safety harnesses for high-altitude work and prohibit installation in windy weather (wind speeds ≥5 levels); keep away from fire sources and prohibit smoking or using open-flame equipment inside the toilet.
- Environmental Adaptation: Install sunshades in summer and choose models with heating functions in winter; take rainproof measures in the rainy season (such as raising the foundation and sealing joints).
- Compliance Requirements: In some areas (such as the old town of Luoyang), it is necessary to apply for a road occupancy permit in advance and follow the guidance of the local municipal facilities management department.
