Single-Person Portable Toilet Installation Process
Admin September 29, 2026
The installation process of a single-person portable toilet can be divided into three stages: pre-installation preparation, on-site installation implementation, and post-installation inspection and delivery. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-Installation Preparation
- Site Survey and Planning: Confirm the installation location with the customer in advance, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacle-filled zones. When measuring the site dimensions, ensure that the width of the toilet's entrance and exit passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve sufficient operating space to prevent subsequent installation obstructions.
- Material Inventory and Inspection: Upon arrival, verify the quantity, model, and accessories (such as washbasins, flushing devices, sewage pipes, etc.) of the portable toilets. Focus on inspecting the equipment for any external damage and ensuring the internal facilities are intact to avoid rework due to material issues.
- Tool and Personnel Preparation: Equip with basic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange for 2-3 professional installers. If the toilet body is heavy or the installation environment is complex, coordinate with lifting equipment such as cranes to assist with handling, ensuring safety and efficiency.
II. On-Site Installation Implementation Steps
- Foundation Fixing Operations: After hoisting the toilet body to the designated location, use a spirit level to adjust the equipment's stability, with a deviation controlled within 3mm. Secure the equipment with expansion bolts or counterweights, especially in areas with strong winds, to prevent tipping risks.
- Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging: Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or designated sewage collection tank, ensuring a pipe slope of ≥2% to prevent sewage backflow. When connecting the water supply, it is recommended to use a water pipe with a diameter ≥DN20. Test the flushing function and drainage tightness to ensure no leakage.
- Detail Inspection and Cleaning: After installing accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, check the flexibility of the door lock and flushing buttons to ensure smooth operation. Finally, clean and disinfect the interior and place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper to enhance the user experience.
III. Post-Installation Inspection and Delivery
- Function Testing Checklist: Conduct a flushing test (press the flushing button three times consecutively to confirm unobstructed drainage) and a load-bearing test (evenly step on the top of the equipment to check structural stability) to ensure the equipment meets safety standards.
- Delivery Document Confirmation: Provide the customer with an 'Equipment Installation Inspection Form', clearly indicating the installation date, warranty period, and usage instructions, and have both parties sign to safeguard subsequent service rights.
The entire installation process must strictly adhere to specifications to ensure the equipment functions normally, is safe and stable, while also paying attention to detail handling and user delivery experience.
