Single-Person Flush Mobile Toilet Design

Admin October 09, 2026

A single-person flush mobile toilet is a mobile sanitation facility that utilizes an independent enclosed space, an internal water tank, and a sewage disposal system to treat excreta through traditional water flushing methods, aiming to address the toilet needs in areas without access to municipal sewer networks.

Technical Principles and Structure

The core structure of a single-person flush mobile toilet is supported by a steel frame, ensuring overall stability and durability. Internally, it integrates a PP or stainless steel squat toilet, paired with a high-level water tank and a flushing pump to achieve flushing functionality through gravity or electric pressure. The sewage disposal system operates in two modes: one is a direct discharge interface connected to the municipal sewage network, requiring confirmation of pipeline slope and interface compatibility; the other is a self-contained sewage storage tank that requires regular cleaning. Modular assembly is the primary manufacturing method, with the main body of the toilet formed through bolt connections or welding, providing sealing, thermal insulation, and moisture resistance to adapt to complex outdoor environments.

Application Scenarios and Advantages

This type of toilet is suitable for scenarios with moderate pedestrian traffic density but requiring rapid deployment. For example, short-term events such as music festivals and sports competitions can meet demand by combining dozens of single-squat units; long-term projects like remote highway service areas and construction sites can use them as transitional facilities. Compared to dry or packaged toilets, the water-flushing type offers advantages such as a user experience close to that of fixed public toilets, better odor control, and intuitive cleaning and maintenance (e.g., visible flushing effects of excreta).

Operation and Maintenance Points

  1. Daily Inspection: Users need to regularly check the water level in the tank and the battery charge (for electrically flushed models) to ensure sufficient flushing after each use and avoid residual excreta.
  2. Sewage Management: For direct discharge models, check the stability of pipeline connections; for self-contained sewage storage tanks, regular cleaning by professional fecal suction trucks is required to prevent overflow and environmental pollution.
  3. Adaptation to Extreme Environments: When used in cold regions, anti-freezing measures for water pipes are necessary, such as adding antifreeze or installing heating and insulation devices to prevent pipeline freezing and equipment damage.

Through modular design, water-flushing technology, and targeted maintenance, single-person flush mobile toilets effectively balance portability and hygiene, becoming an important sanitation solution in areas without access to municipal sewer networks.
