Single Mobile Environmental Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

A single mobile environmental toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole, providing toilet services to the public and customers. The following is an introduction from the aspects of composition, development history, classification, and examples:

Composition: A single mobile environmental toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. These components work together to achieve its toilet service function. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and store fecal sewage, the sanitary ware facilitates user convenience, and the mobile device ensures the overall mobility of the toilet.

Development History: Initially, mobile toilets were made of materials such as wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. With technological advancements and increased demand, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. These new materials offer better durability, odor resistance, and ease of cleaning, significantly enhancing the user experience and lifespan of mobile toilets.

Classification:

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and suitable for spaces with limited area or low structural requirements; composite-structure toilets are more complex and may include multiple functional areas, suitable for large events or venues with high facility requirements.
  • By mobility method: They can be classified as lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling types are suitable for short-distance movement or venues requiring frequent relocation; powered and towed types are more suitable for long-distance movement or scenarios requiring rapid deployment.
  • By sewage treatment method: They can be divided into water-flush and waterless-flush suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flush mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flush types offer an experience closer to traditional toilets but require a water source; waterless-flush suction types are suitable for water-scarce areas; circulating water-flush types are more environmentally friendly by recycling water resources; dry-packing types do not require a water source, with feces directly packed for disposal, offering convenience and speed.

Example: A customer in Anhui customized an Apple Pod mobile toilet for his scenic spot, with twenty male stalls, a front wall made of Great Wall panels, one side featuring sheet metal spray-painted with real stone paint, and the signboard already installed. This example demonstrates the customized services of mobile toilets, which can be designed according to customer needs and venue characteristics.
