Single Container House Decoration
The decoration of a single container house should balance functionality and aesthetics. By reasonably planning the space, optimizing lighting and ventilation, and enhancing storage design, a comfortable and livable environment can be created.

1. Space Planning and Functional Zoning
Container houses have limited space, so flexible design is required to maximize functionality. For example, using a foldable custom bed that can be converted into a sofa during the day and a double bed at night meets both sleeping and leisure needs. The kitchen is designed in a linear layout to save space and facilitate operation, complemented by upper and lower cabinets and open shelving to improve storage efficiency. The bedroom and living room are integrated with minimal partitions to enhance spatial transparency. Additionally, the area can be expanded by combining containers, such as combining two 18㎡ containers to create separate zones for the living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
2. Lighting and Ventilation Optimization
Container materials are highly enclosed, necessitating modifications to enhance lighting and ventilation. For example, installing lifting rods at the roof corners to improve indoor lighting and airflow; adding large glass windows or skylights to introduce natural light; designing the side walls to be openable to increase spatial extension and serve as sunshades. External additions like terraces or extended decks can enrich the layering and enhance interaction with nature.
3. Storage and Detail Design
For small spaces, every inch must be utilized efficiently. For example, installing curved storage cabinets beside the bed and on the top walls to enhance storage when used in combination; adding wood-finished shelves on the inside of the container door to unify the color scheme and hang clothes; adopting rounded corners in the bathroom design, paired with integrated storage cabinets for both aesthetics and practicality. Additionally, fire-resistant black special materials can be used to decorate the area around the stove, balancing safety and visual appeal.
4. Style and Material Selection
The decoration style can be chosen based on personal preference, such as minimalist, Japanese, or industrial styles. For example, using natural wood tones as the primary color scheme, paired with white and gray, creates a natural and warm atmosphere; or retaining the corrugated metal interior walls of the container to highlight an industrial texture. In terms of materials, attention should be paid to waterproofing, rust prevention, and insulation properties, such as applying a smooth black coating externally and laying carefully crafted wooden panels internally for durability and enhanced refinement.
