Simple Mobile Toilet with Fecal Tank

Admin September 27, 2026

A simple mobile toilet with a fecal tank is a type of mobile toilet equipped with a fecal wastewater storage or treatment device, suitable for various temporary or fixed locations.

Structural Composition

A simple mobile toilet with a fecal tank typically consists of a fecal wastewater storage tank (or fecal wastewater treatment device), flooring, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing facilities, a water tank, a roof, and a mobile unit. Among these, the fecal wastewater storage tank is the core component, used to collect and temporarily store fecal wastewater, preventing direct discharge from causing environmental pollution. The flooring needs to be slip-resistant and easy to clean to ensure safety during use. Sanitary fixtures such as toilets or squat pans must be compatible with the storage device. The walls and roof provide an enclosed space to ensure privacy and protection from wind and rain. The mobile unit (such as wheels or a detachable structure) facilitates overall transportation or redeployment.

Materials and Structural Forms

In terms of materials, common choices include fiberglass and plastic. Fiberglass is strong, corrosion-resistant, and lightweight, making it suitable for long-term outdoor use. Plastic is less expensive and easy to process but has relatively weaker durability. Structural forms vary, such as the integral winding type, which is manufactured using a one-piece fiberglass molding process, offering good sealing properties; the underground type, which buries the storage tank underground to reduce ground space usage; the assembled and spliced types, which facilitate separate transportation and quick on-site assembly; and the molded type, which is pressed into shape using molds, offering high production efficiency.

Sewage Treatment Types

Based on sewage treatment methods, mobile toilets with fecal tanks are mainly divided into two categories:

  • Waterless Suction Type: Relies on a vacuum pump or negative pressure device to suction fecal wastewater into the storage tank without the need for water flushing, suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary event scenarios.
  • Dry Packaging Type: Uses biodegradable film bags or solid adsorbents to wrap feces, forming dry lumps that reduce odors and leakage risks, making maintenance simpler. Some models may incorporate recirculating water flushing technology, using filtration and disinfection devices to achieve water reuse, but they require additional treatment equipment.

Applicable Scenarios

Such mobile toilets are widely used in public areas with high pedestrian traffic and mobility, such as train stations, docks, and tourist attractions, to meet temporary toilet needs. In factories and municipal engineering projects, they can serve as sanitary facilities during construction or emergency situations. Additionally, their advantages of flexible deployment and quick installation are particularly prominent in large-scale events and disaster relief scenarios.
