Simple Mobile Toilet
A simple mobile toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and set up in fixed or temporary locations to provide toilet services for the public and customers. The following is an introduction from three aspects: composition, classification, and self-made methods.

Composition: It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device, etc. These components work together to ensure that the mobile toilet has basic toilet functions while meeting certain hygiene and usage requirements. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and store fecal sewage, preventing direct discharge from causing environmental pollution; the sanitary ware provides users with a comfortable toilet experience; and the mobile device facilitates the overall movement and arrangement of the toilet.
Classification:
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets usually have a relatively simple structure and a small size, suitable for locations with limited space or small temporary needs; composite-structure mobile toilets are composed of multiple parts, with a more complex structure and more complete functions, capable of meeting the toilet needs of a large number of people.
- By moving method: It can be divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets require the use of equipment such as cranes for movement and installation, suitable for some large-scale events or construction sites; powered and towed mobile toilets have their own power systems or can be moved by vehicle towing, making them more flexible and convenient to use.
- By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction mobile toilets treat fecal sewage through water flushing or suction; circulating water-flushing mobile toilets recycle the treated water to save water resources; dry-packing mobile toilets pack and treat feces without using water, suitable for water-scarce areas or places with high environmental protection requirements.
Self-made methods: Some people use materials such as water storage tanks to make simple mobile toilets by themselves. For example, a young man used a water storage tank, split it in half with an angle grinder, fixed universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy movement, used wooden strips to increase the height of the tank, opened a hole on the side and installed door frames, walls, and a roof, and also installed drainage pipes, toilets, bath heaters, and washbasins, etc.
