Simple Mobile Toilet Sink

Admin October 09, 2026

A simple mobile toilet sink can be made in the following two ways:

Making with a large plastic bucket and a foot basin

First, prepare a large plastic bucket and a foot basin. Draw two rectangular marks on the side of the plastic bucket, cut off one side according to the marks, place the hinges at the cutting area, mark the positions after alignment, drill holes, and fix four hinges with rivets. Then, cut the remaining part according to the marks to form two doors. Next, prepare four universal wheels and fix them to the bottom of the plastic bucket with screws to make the bucket mobile. After installation, turn the bucket over, drill a hole near the bottom edge, close the lid, and use this hole to cut a large circular hole in the lid with a jigsaw for placing the foot basin. After placing a large foot basin, drill a hole in the middle of the basin to install a drain, facilitating the discharge of sewage. Install a water pipe clip at the handle position of the basin, assemble and connect a faucet with PVC pipes, so that water can flow out from the faucet for users to wash their hands. This method of making is relatively simple, and the materials are also common, suitable for quickly making a simple mobile toilet sink in situations with limited resources.

Making with discarded tires and a large basin

First, make a mobile base. Cut a piece of wood into a circle the same size as the tire, fix four universal wheels at the bottom of the wood with screws, and screw long screws into the four corners to fix the wood and the tire. Then, stack and fix two to three tires, and repaint the tire surface with eco-friendly black paint to improve aesthetics. Take a 25-liter plastic water tank, drill a hole on the top side and screw in an external threaded joint, drill a hole in the middle of the lid and insert a plastic hose, connect the hose to a 12-volt DC micro-pump, fix the micro-pump and connect the power cord. Put the plastic water tank inside the tire platform, drill two holes on the tire surface to thread out the hose and the power cord, connect the power cord of the micro-pump with a switch and fix it on the tire surface. Take a large basin with holes drilled in the middle, install a drain and a drainage system, apply waterproof glass glue for fixation, and install a drainage pipe. Connect PVC pipes, elbows, and a shut-off valve on the side of the plastic water tank, put the large basin inside the tire, apply waterproof glass glue at the joints for fixation, and connect a copper elbow and a plastic hose as a faucet. The sink made in this way is relatively stable and has a certain water storage function, suitable for scenarios with higher usage requirements.
