Simple Mobile Toilet Restroom

Admin October 19, 2026

There are mainly two ways to make a simple mobile toilet restroom:

Making with a Water Storage Barrel

First, prepare a water storage barrel and use an angle grinder to split it in half lengthwise. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for mobility. Use wooden strips and self-tapping screws to increase the height of the barrel. Cut an opening on the side of the barrel, install sponge strips to form a door frame, and insert plastic soft boards to create raised walls. Place the upper half of the barrel on top of the wooden strips as a roof and apply white waterproof paint to enhance its appearance. Use foam strips to拼接 (assemble) discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door. Cut a hole at the bottom of the barrel to install a drain pipe as a floor drain. Cut holes on the side and bottom of the plastic barrel to install direct connectors. Place the plastic barrel on the roof as a small water storage device and connect a water pipe-made bath heater. Install a tee under the inlet pipe and connect a showerhead. Place a toilet and install a water tank, securing it with glass glue. Connect the drain pipe to a sewage barrel. Horizontally connect a water pipe to the tee of the outlet pipe and extend it to the doorway as the inlet pipe for the sink. Cut a hole in the door, install a connector, and connect a hose.

Making with a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet

First, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of a pallet. Place a water storage tank retrieved from a garbage station on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank to remove the top and create an open tank. Invert another open-top tank and stack it on the first one, securing the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut an opening in the outer frame and body of the tank to form a doorway. Cut a hole in the floor inside the tank, insert an elbow from the bottom up, connect a water pipe, and seal it with glue, cutting off any excess pipe. Align the toilet with the drain hole and secure it with glue. Fix a water pipe on the wall clips and install a faucet. Fix a pipe cap with screws under the faucet, connect a water pipe, and cut a hole at the bottom as a drain pipe outlet. Cut a hole in the pipe cap, apply glass glue, and fix a sink made of a stainless steel basin. Connect an inlet pipe to the toilet water tank, connect a shower hose, and install a showerhead bracket and toilet seat. Install a spray-type showerhead made of a water pipe. Bring a wooden board, fix hinges on the frame of the tank, and fix the other side of the hinges to a wooden box to form the door of the restroom. Install a door handle on the door.
