Dimensions of Simple Mobile Toilets
The common dimensions of simple mobile toilets vary depending on the type and usage scenario, mainly falling into the following three categories:

1. Internal Dimensions of Single-Person Standard Type This type is suitable for spaces with limited room, such as sidewalks and park corners. Its internal length typically ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, width from 0.8 to 1.0 meters, and height from 2.2 to 2.4 meters. The design of these dimensions prioritizes compactness, minimizing the footprint while meeting basic usage needs. For example, the 1.2-meter length specification is suitable for narrow sidewalks, while the 1.5-meter length provides slightly more room for turning around. The 0.8-meter width offers basic space for a single person to move sideways, while the 1.0-meter width enhances comfort. The height range of 2.2 to 2.4 meters ensures good internal air circulation, preventing a sense of confinement.
2. External Dimensions of Common Single-Pit Types The external dimensions of single-pit mobile toilets need to consider structural stability and transportation convenience. Their length generally ranges from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, width from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and height from 2.2 to 2.5 meters. The differences in external dimensions mainly stem from material and functional design: for instance, toilets with metal frames may require increased width for structural reinforcement; models equipped with water storage tanks or sewage disposal systems may extend their length or height to accommodate additional equipment. Additionally, the 2.5-meter height specification can accommodate higher-level ventilation systems or top lighting fixtures.
3. Basic Dimension Standards for the Toilet Area According to ergonomic and hygiene standards, the net dimensions of the toilet area must meet the following requirements:
- Net Width: Should not be less than 0.85 meters, with an ideal range of 0.9 to 1.0 meters. This width ensures that users can adjust their posture or place personal items sideways, avoiding collisions due to narrow space.
- Net Depth: Must guarantee 1.2 to 1.5 meters. Insufficient depth affects the ease of toilet movements, while a depth of 1.5 meters can accommodate wheelchair turning space (required for some barrier-free designs).
- Door Width: Should not be less than 0.6 meters. This dimension meets the needs of ordinary adults to pass through sideways and facilitates quick evacuation in emergencies.
In practical applications, dimension selection should comprehensively consider site conditions, usage frequency, and budget. For example, high-traffic areas are recommended to adopt external dimensions of 1.5 meters by 1.2 meters to reduce queuing time, while temporary event venues can opt for compact specifications to lower costs.
