Simple Mobile Toilet
A simple mobile toilet, also known as a portable toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services to the public and customers. It is introduced from three aspects: composition, classification, and examples.

I. Composition
A mobile toilet generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and moving device. Among them, the fecal sewage storage tank or treatment device is used to collect and treat excreta, preventing direct discharge from polluting the environment; the floor ensures the safety and comfort of users when walking; sanitary ware such as toilets and squat pans are the core toilet facilities; walls serve to separate spaces and protect privacy; washing equipment facilitates users in cleaning their hands; the water tank provides water for flushing; the roof can shield against wind and rain; and the moving device enables the toilet to be moved as a whole to meet the usage needs at different locations.
II. Classification
- By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or small temporary needs; the composite-structure type is more complex and has more complete functions, meeting the usage needs of larger groups of people.
- By moving method: It can be divided into lifting and handling mobile toilets, and powered and towed mobile toilets. Lifting and handling mobile toilets usually require lifting equipment for movement and are suitable for replacement at fixed locations; powered and towed mobile toilets can be moved by vehicle traction or their own power, offering higher flexibility.
- By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction-type mobile toilets treat excreta through water flushing or suction; circulating water-flushing mobile toilets recycle the treated water to save water resources; dry-packing mobile toilets pack and treat excreta without using water.
III. Examples
Conventional mobile toilets adopt a gray and white color scheme. The overall steel structure frame is firmly welded and durable. The gray and white metal carved panels are heat-insulating, corrosion-resistant. There are light-admitting and ventilating sliding windows in the front, gray aluminum alloy exterior doors, separate male and female areas with independent rooms, and they are fully equipped and ready for use upon arrival. There are also simple and stylish mobile toilets with a beige exterior wall and an orange curtain wall. Inside, there are three toilet stalls each for men and women.
