Simple Environmental-Friendly Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

The simple environmental-friendly mobile toilet can be made by modifying water storage barrels or tanks, featuring mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

Production Method Based on Water Storage Barrels

First, split the water storage barrel in half lengthwise and attach caster wheels to the four corners of a wooden base for mobility. Use wooden strips to increase the height of the barrel, providing space for installing other components. Cut an opening on the side of the barrel, install sponge strips to form a door frame, and insert plastic soft panels to create walls for partial concealment and protection. Place the upper half of the barrel on top of the wooden strips to form a roof, providing shelter indoors. Finally, install drainage pipes, a toilet, a water tank, and other fixtures inside, connecting all relevant pipes to ensure the smooth discharge and treatment of fecal wastewater.

Production Method Based on Water Storage Tanks and Pallets

Attach caster wheels to the four corners of the bottom of a pallet and place a water storage tank on it to make the entire structure mobile. Cut along the marked lines on the top of the tank to create an open-top tank, stack two open-top tanks, and secure them with self-tapping screws to increase internal space. Cut a rectangular opening to serve as a doorway for easy access. Cut a hole in the floor inside the tank to install drainage fixtures and secure the toilet to ensure timely fecal discharge. Additionally, install faucets, sinks, showers, and other equipment to meet users' cleaning needs. Finally, install a door to protect users' privacy.

Composition and Features of Mobile Toilets

Mobile toilets generally consist of a fecal wastewater storage tank (or fecal wastewater treatment device), flooring, sanitary fixtures, walls, washing facilities, a water tank, a roof, and mobility devices. Their greatest advantage lies in their ability to be easily transported to any location where a toilet is needed, such as outdoor event sites or construction sites. They can be used repeatedly; when no longer needed at a specific location, they can be moved elsewhere for continued use. With features such as mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation, they effectively solve the problem of temporary toilet access.
