Sichuan Prefabricated Concrete House

Admin September 19, 2026

The prefabricated concrete houses in Sichuan mainly adopt prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, with prefabricated modules as the core for factory production and modular assembly, featuring high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, environmental friendliness, and flexibility, and are regulated by local standards.

Technical Features Prefabricated concrete houses in Sichuan use C30 - C40 grade concrete with built-in Φ8 - φ12 steel reinforcement mesh, achieving a compressive strength of 25 - 30MPa, which is 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures. The walls are designed with reserved slots for EPS insulation layers, enhancing thermal insulation performance by 40% when embedded on-site. The modules are connected through prestressed bolts and welded steel plates to form an integrated framework, with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 10 and a seismic fortification intensity of 7 degrees, meeting the environmental demands of Sichuan's windy and earthquake-prone regions.

Construction Efficiency and Cost Factory production significantly shortens the construction period: a single 30㎡ module can be prefabricated in just 7 days, and on-site installation of a single module by 3 workers with a crane takes only 4 hours, with the overall construction of a 100㎡ house taking just 2 days. In terms of cost, taking a 120㎡ rural self-built house as an example, the construction cost of a traditional brick-and-mortar structure is approximately 180,000 - 220,000 yuan, while the cost of the main modules of a prefabricated concrete house is only 120,000 - 150,000 yuan. Including interior and exterior decoration, the total cost can be controlled within 200,000 yuan, representing a 30% reduction in overall cost. If a leasing model is chosen, the annual rent can be as low as 5,000 yuan per room, further reducing initial investment.

Green and Environmental Performance Factory production achieves a 95% recycling rate of off-cuts, with no dust or sewage emissions at the construction site, and construction waste accounting for only 10% of that from traditional construction methods. Environmentally friendly concrete and water-based paints are used, with formaldehyde emissions ≤0.05mg/m³, well below the national standard (0.1mg/m³), supporting "immediate occupancy" and reducing the impact on occupants' health.

Flexibility in House Types and Application Scenarios The standard module size is 6m×3m×3m (length, width, height), allowing for flexible combination of house types through horizontal splicing or vertical stacking (up to 3 floors), adapting to diverse needs such as rural self-built houses and cultural tourism homestays. Sichuan Province has also issued the local standard "Production, Construction, and Quality Acceptance Standards for Prefabricated Self-Insulating Concrete Exterior Wall Panels in Sichuan Province" (DBJ51/T111 - 2019), providing norms for the production, construction, and acceptance of prefabricated components to ensure project quality.
