Sichuan Concrete Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

Sichuan has relatively well-developed progress in the field of concrete prefabricated houses, covering aspects such as standard formulation and practical product applications.

In terms of standard formulation, Sichuan Province actively promotes the establishment and improvement of standards related to concrete prefabricated houses. On the one hand, it has issued the local engineering construction standard, 'Production, Construction, and Quality Acceptance Standards for Prefabricated Self-Insulating Concrete Exterior Wall Panels in Sichuan Province.' This standard was edited by the Chengdu Civil Engineering and Architecture Society and Chengdu Construction Engineering Group No.6 Co., Ltd., reviewed by experts organized by the Sichuan Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department, and numbered DBJ51/T111 - 2019. It has been implemented across the province since July 1, 2019. The introduction of this standard provides clear specifications for the production, construction, and quality acceptance of prefabricated self-insulating concrete exterior wall panels, helping to improve the quality and performance of such panels and ensuring the quality of construction projects.

On the other hand, Sichuan Province is revising the 'Technical Standard for Multi-Story Prefabricated Concrete Modular Buildings.' This standard covers various aspects, including general provisions, terminology, basic requirements, materials, architectural design, structural design, production and transportation, construction and installation, and quality acceptance. It is comprehensive and detailed. Managed by the Sichuan Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department and with Sichuan University responsible for interpreting the specific technical content, this standard reflects professionalism and authority, providing systematic technical guidance for multi-story prefabricated concrete modular buildings.

In terms of practical product applications, there are prefabricated cement houses in Sichuan that adopt a full-house reinforced concrete structure and have significant advantages. For example, the main structure of a 200-square-meter house only costs 110,000 yuan, which is relatively low in cost. The house weighs a hundred tons and has a stable structure. It has excellent seismic performance and is not afraid of earthquakes. For Sichuan, an earthquake-prone region, this greatly improves the safety of houses and provides reliable living guarantees for residents.

In conclusion, in the field of concrete prefabricated houses, Sichuan has promoted the development and progress of this field by formulating standards to regulate industry development and launching practical products with good performance and cost-effectiveness.
