Shengang Mobile Toilet
The mobile public toilet on Zijinghua Road, Shengang Avenue in the Lingang New Area is one of the seven newly built mobile public toilets in Lingang to address the issue of citizens' toilet access. Currently, several of them have been put into use. The following is a detailed introduction from three aspects: basic information, facility configuration, and material selection:

I. Basic Information
To enhance public service levels, the Lingang New Area has planned and constructed seven mobile public toilets to address the inconvenience of citizens' toilet access. The newly built public toilet on Zijinghua Road, Shengang Avenue, is one of them. The layout of these mobile public toilets fully considers regional population density, pedestrian traffic, and the actual needs of citizens, aiming to solve the problem of insufficient coverage of traditional public toilets through flexible deployment. Currently, some of the toilets have been put into use, providing convenience for surrounding residents, tourists, and staff.
II. Facility Configuration
The facility configuration of this mobile public toilet reflects a design concept of "humanization + intelligence".
- Basic Functional Areas: Each toilet is equipped with more than two independent toilet stalls and one accessible restroom to meet the needs of different groups. The independent toilet stalls ensure privacy, while the accessible restroom is equipped with handrails, low-level sinks, and other facilities to facilitate use by disabled individuals, the elderly, and children.
- Environmental Adjustment Equipment: An air conditioning system is installed to regulate indoor temperature and enhance toilet comfort. Hot water supply equipment meets the need for hand washing in winter, avoiding low-temperature irritation.
- Intelligent Management System: Equipped with an intelligent system display screen, it can show the usage status of toilet stalls, air quality monitoring data (such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide concentrations), and equipment operation status in real-time, facilitating timely maintenance by management personnel.
- Convenient Supporting Facilities: Designs such as hand dryers, high-low sinks, and automatic induction faucets reduce contact contamination and improve hygiene levels. Some toilets may also add charging ports, emergency call buttons, etc., to further expand service functions.
III. Material Selection
The building materials for the public toilet are oriented towards durability and ease of cleaning. The walls and ceilings are made of fire-resistant and moisture-proof materials to reduce safety hazards. The doors and windows are made of materials with good sealing properties to reduce odor diffusion. The floor tiles are made of slip-resistant and wear-resistant materials to prevent slipping caused by water accumulation. The overall structure emphasizes wind and earthquake resistance to adapt to outdoor environments. The selection of these materials not only ensures the long-term use of the public toilet but also reduces maintenance costs.
