Shaoguan Mobile Toilet Materials

Admin September 24, 2026

Common materials for mobile toilets in Shaoguan include color-coated steel plates, stainless steel, FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic), wood materials, galvanized steel plates, aluminum alloys, and antibacterial composite materials. The specific choice should be made by comprehensively considering the usage scenario, budget, and aesthetic requirements.

Color-coated steel plates are one of the commonly used materials for mobile toilets in Shaoguan. They are composed of color-coated steel sheets and core materials such as foam or rock wool. Their core advantages lie in their lightweight nature, easy installation, and relatively low cost, making them suitable for short-term use or scenarios with limited budgets. The coated steel sheets provide basic structural support, while the core materials enhance thermal insulation performance. However, it should be noted that long-term exposure to humid environments may cause the core materials to absorb water and deform, requiring regular maintenance.

Stainless steel is renowned for its high strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. It has a smooth surface that is easy to clean and a modern, simple appearance, making it suitable for public areas with high foot traffic or coastal humid environments. Its drawbacks include relatively high cost and a cold feel in winter, which can be improved through design optimizations such as adding thermal insulation layers to enhance user comfort.

FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic) is composed of glass fibers and synthetic resins, combining the characteristics of lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance. It can be molded into streamlined or irregular shapes to meet personalized design requirements. Its weather resistance is superior to that of color-coated steel plates, but long-term exposure to ultraviolet light may cause surface fading, necessitating the addition of anti-UV additives or regular touch-up painting for maintenance.

Wood materials are usually treated with preservatives, either through chemical treatment or immersion in natural preservatives, to achieve a natural and warm texture that blends well with the natural environment, making them suitable for scenic spots, parks, and other scenarios. However, they require regular preservative treatment and have relatively weak fire resistance, necessitating the application of fire-retardant coatings or keeping them away from fire sources.

Galvanized steel plates and aluminum alloys, as box materials, have better corrosion resistance than ordinary steel, and aluminum alloys are even lighter in weight, facilitating transportation and installation. The interior panels are made of antibacterial composite materials, which can effectively inhibit bacterial growth and improve hygiene standards, making them suitable for scenarios with strict hygiene requirements such as medical facilities and food processing plants.

Material selection requires comprehensive evaluation: For short-term events, color-coated steel plates or aluminum alloys are preferred to control costs; for long-term use, stainless steel or FRP is recommended to ensure durability; for scenic spots that emphasize aesthetics, wood or custom-shaped FRP can be chosen; and for scenarios with high hygiene standards, antibacterial composite materials should be paired.
