At the Jinci Scenic Spot in Shanxi, during the May Day holiday, in response to the peak tourist flow, multiple temporary adjustment measures were taken to increase toilet supply, involving the setup of mobile toilets. On one hand, after converting men's toilets into women's toilets, buses were dispatched to serve as mobile men's toilets. On the basis of the original restrooms at the entrance area of the Jinci Museum, a well-equipped and clean bus mobile restroom was allocated and parked in a surrounding area that did not affect tourist passage or the appearance of ancient buildings, serving as a supplement to the restrooms. The interior space of the bus mobile restroom is relatively large, capable of accommodating multiple squat toilets or urinals, and can meet the needs of a relatively large number of tourists simultaneously, effectively alleviating the pressure on tourists to use the restroom.
On the other hand, temporary mobile men's toilets were set up in both Jinci Park and the Jinci Museum. These mobile men's toilets may be specially customized mobile toilet facilities with independent spaces and complete sanitary equipment, capable of providing basic restroom services for tourists. They were reasonably distributed in areas with high tourist traffic within the park and the museum for the convenience of tourists.
However, it should be made clear that the setup of these mobile toilets is a temporary measure during specific holidays. Normally, the Jinci Scenic Spot may not have so many mobile toilets.
